An ECCIE App wouldn't be a bad idea as long as it was developed properly. Call it "Hobby" App. The description on your App Store of choice could be very vague, like "Hobby scheduling to support your recreation time." It won't send any Alerts and it requires login every time, without storing your information. Perhaps if the developers became very wise, they would actually be able to mimik Google Talk and give everyone their own Hobby phone numbers and have an all-in-one App. Also, the Icon of the App should be very basic and wouldn't say "Hobby App" beneath it, making it almost invisible - just in case word gets out that wives need to start watching out for husbands possibly using such an app. It would make it difficult to see, search, and locate. Then even if they did, they couldn't log in (without proper credentials) to see anything.
It's really not a bad idea, in theory. All of the concerns can be addressed easily with a little creativity and clever programming.
