The fact is that a large majority of minorities join the military for benefits and college funds. They don't join for the TAGLINE. "to protect my country". That tagline went out in the 60's
The pay is ok. The benefits of separate rations, free healthcare, travel, cost of living and some decent housing is also ok.

the line "destroy our homes" really has me shaking my head....how can u claim that a tent or tarp that you set up in a public park is your "HOME" ???????????? i just love how they try to spin the situation like the NYPD was kicking them out of there home and onto the street. if you want to go to your real "home" then go. im sure no one will miss you. and the "they stole" line was a good addition too. if the NYPD stole their possessions then why would they be willingly letting people come claim back their stuff??
