Super Bowl
Dallas Cowboys VS Miami
January 16, 1972
Dallas 24 Miami 3
Age: 6-6 1/2'ish

Moved in our new house in November 1971. I remember watching the game with my Dad in our living room, with the panel walls, brown shag carpet, eating fritos and bean dip, watching the game from our brand new Zenith console stereo/TV/turn table.

Yeah...that's how long I'VE been a fan!!

Since 1965 when my Dad took me to the Cotton Bowl to see the Cowboys play the Cleveland Browns. Dandy Don was the quarterback and Eddie LeBarron was the back yp QB.

I've been a fan since 1968 when I first discovered football. Those were some tough years after two consecutive defeats in the NFL Championship game by the Packers. Back then the Cowboys were known as "Next Year's Champions". That was during the expansion years and just before the glory years of the 70's when they became known as "America's Team". The current Cowboys sorta remind me of those "Next Year's Champions" Cowboys.

I've been a huge fan since the early 70's. Luv my Boys! I feel like they had a really good season and now that it's over, I'm gonna mope around the rest of the day and hope for an even better season next year!

Turn out the lights the parties over, they say that all good things must end. So call it a night, the parties over and tomorrow starts the same old thing again.

Maybe next year all you CowBoy Fans, but I doubt it.

I pull for two teams: Minnesota Vikings and whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys.

I have been a fan of the Vikings since the Fran Tarkington, Bud Grant days because where I grew up you are a Vikfan or a Cheese head. There is nothing inbetween.

I will NEVER put one dime in Jerry Jones Pocket.

I have been a Cowboys fan ever since I knew what a football was. Since I was 4 or 5 I guess.

I have been a fan of the boys since the 70's. Stayed with them through the bad years (got REALLY good seats sometimes). Had to put up with my SO's Bears beating them, etc. I was in Landry's going away parade and still have the mask and fedora around here somewhere.

I guess I'll have to root for the old guy and hope if he wins another ring, he will retire for good.
