The smitten, "I'm in love, why are you ignoring me?" reaction is one I've heard described by more than one provider. When it happens, especially after one date, it indicates a certain lack of maturity on the guy's part. I don't think it could be handled better than you did, but politeness doesn't always work in those situations. If the behavior persists, you may have to decline to see him again.
I have become friendly with providers and exchanged emails about "nonprofessional" things, but it generally has involved my telling her that it's okay to email me at any time about any topic, then leaving the decision about whether to do so up to her. I won't say I've never fantasized about having a civilian relationship with a provider, but I do know the difference between fantasy and reality. Unless I'm off my meds. But then I'm usually too busy staving off the zombies to bother a provider.

Chevalier, you are absolutely correct in your observation. The guys here, although a bit tire-kickerish, do tend to have their emotions in check. Mostly because they read the posts and are enlightened by them. They know the hobbying world inside and out.
As stated earlier, these problems usually exist with newbies, not prolific hobbyists. Not just "any" newby, but the YOUNGER newby. The ones in their 30's. The older gentlemen tend to have a better grasp on reality, and like I theorized it could be because age usually is synonymous with wisdom. They know black from white, where younger guys just think in grey.
PickupKid: are you saying that just discussing dating an escort might give hobbyists ideas?

Don't you know what is happening when a guy tries to get you to exchange emails and texts? He is trying to save money by not actually booking a session with you and beating off when you answer him back, most likely as he clicks through your gallery.
