so all that aid for decades didn't help? that it was wasted money? so we should continue to waste money to prevent more illegal immigration that it didn't stop?

I think the real answer is you don’t have a clue what Mexico wanted. They turned back a caravan, arrested two leaders of the caravans and froze the assets of 26 others days before they signed the agreement. And if you think the aid that we’ve been sending those countries was trickling down to these people you’re a bigger doofus than Jethro Bodine

Hey brainiac...this Central American immigration has just recently become a problem. Before most immigration came from Mexico but Mexico has raised its standard of living.
