Them baby crabs are like *rack for those guys.... The biggest I ever caught wit with a live crab about the size of a silver dollar, near a oyster reef....

Since then it has been like payday, when I can find the crabs or catch them.....

Its been a bit since I have done some Red fishing. Caught a monster Red years ago bigger then my leg. Most of my Red fishing has been during the day. Didn't realize they were a night fish as well. Night fishing I would mainly do shark and blue fish.

Cobia.... You need a boat... You can get them bastards year round....

Close to shore... Temperate water .... That's when they come close. ( spring and fall, I think it is too late this year for them)

Is that legal?

I gained a whole new respect for those bastards when I got finned by one in the big toe a few years ago. Holy shit that hurt, got nauseous, cold sweats. I do everything possible to shake them loose.ha

Not quite true bud. I witnessed a guy get a ticket from a game warden for killing them and throwing them back in the water. Cost him 200 bucks.

That's kinda what I was thinking, I can't imagine it's kosher with the wardens bashing a dozen hardheads and pitching them over the side throughout the day.

SHIT!

That's why I quit fishing. Hunting too. Buy a dang combo license and what can you do, without buying all manner of stamps? Kill hogs is about all. Can't even kill feral cats when there oughta be bounties on 'em.

Hardheads are like roaches or rats. I guess the day is approaching when killing those bastards will cost you...and government prospers.
