It seems that Sarah Palin won in Alaska against a hostile press and Hillary won in New York with a friendly press. Sarah Palin won her election by 8% against that press headwind.

Yes, but those two Senatorial votes at least help stem the liberal tide of destruction, socialism, and statism.
I like what Palin sez, but we need someone more right wing than her who keeps his/her mouth shut until the Presidency is won, then can unwind the liberal entitlement state.
We need someone with the personality of Reagan and with politics to the right of Rick Perry.
Without a return to true American values, such as rugged individualism, this country is going to continue its liberal slid to hell....or whatever equivalent you subscribe too..
