Offering an apology for coalition forces participating in the burning of the Quran does not concern me in the least.

Let me know if President Obama apologizes for authorizing the raid that killed OBL. That would piss me off!

Regarding the OP. Just another example in a long line of examples that we need to get out of that shithole country. From what I have gathered, the burning of the Koran's was accidental. I can see how they might have a right to get pissed if we had burned the fucking things intentionally or as some sort of gesture against Islam. Imagine the outrage if an afghan group got together here in the US and burned a stack of bibles.

I'm reading over and over again about these motherfucking Afghan soldiers turning their guns on US and coalition soldiers during training exercises or while eating lunch or whatever. It's fucking bullshit. We need to leave that country NOW. Fuck them.

Obama was wrong to apologize although you guys are mischaracterizing (as usual) his intent. What he should have done (3 years ago) is tell them all to fuck off and to get our people out of there. It was a shit-hole a thousand years ago, it's a little bit better shithole now and it will revert to the same shithole it was a thousand years ago within 6 months of our departure.

It's a shame they cannot put you in a HESCO bastion and dump sand on your ass and then set you up to catch incoming rounds. At least then your worthless ass would serve a purpose protecting U.S. personnel serving honorably in that God forsaken place.
