The fact is there are some providers who will haggle and will give guys discounts, that's why guys do it and nothing is going to change that.

If you don't want to see any guys that haggle then you have to make it perfectly clear to them. You should state on your profile "Please do not haggle or mention money, if you do I will not be able to see you". Then if they violated your rules , don't see them. SIMPLE.
Guys who can afford to pay your posted donation will understand and will not be scared away by that.

Gents this lady is one that is deserving of her higher donations!!!

I must admit I opened Mouth and Inserted foot on this one Not to cause harm of course, I was just adding my 2 cents.

I pulled the trigger and saw this beauty. She blew my mind and I up sold her for more time, WTH??? LOL that has never happened before smh. Upper Echelon, Top Shelf, Premium Beauty! Review will be posted just as soon as I can get to my laptop.

Guys are buying something

Some will haggle, negotiate, ask for discounts and specials. Some won't. Nothing is going to change.

I believe there are plenty who do a markup expecting the hagglers to do their thing that when they agree on a price it's pretty much what they had in mind to begin with.
Others post a rate and that's exactly what they expect.
I also believe no matter what rate is there, no matter how fair, how low, or how high, some will still try to get it lower. You could post a rate of 100/hr for PSE and somebody would try to get you to 75.

Since nothing is going to change regarding hagglers, my suggestion is to be flattered people are contacting you, and if you have no interest in lowering your price, be polite and let them know your rate is what it is.. If they continue then put them on ignore.

Looking at your posted rate of 275 and then mentioning P411 members get a discount, that seems to be pretty much in the right zone around here. Bottom line is your rate is your rate and you can do whatever you want with it, but nothing will stop people from trying to negotiate.

Hell, maybe they are confused because you're asking for Orchids on your website.

So looking at p411, here, and your website you have few rates listed which range from 250-350 and in your showcase you mention that you offer a P411 discount.
I can understand somebody bringing up the various rates and at least just asking you what is the rate for an hour. I think that's preferable to showing up and you and your client have different rate expectations.

My denver rates are 350hr/250/hh My website states clearly that those are Denver rates. my dallas rates are 275/h just to clear that up.

As far as there being confusion, that may be true but a simple how much for your donation question will work. "Not I have 135 for 30 mins otherwise I'll see my regular." those are exact words from a guy. smh. I've gotten not all the same text but in some form or another stating what they wanted to give me not asking. Tomato TOMOTO, I guess??

For what it is worth, I get haggled in my biz as well. I had a customer come to me as a referral as the only one to help him. I quoted a price unseen over the phone and he immediately starts to haggle. I say let me see what you want me to do in person. I then quote a lower price in line with what he haggled in the first place. I do superior work and he is well pleased. As he writes the check is asks one more time for a discount!

He will always be welcome back as a customer, just I will be sure to over quote him and then offer a discount which will still enable me to SCREW him over.

My mentor taught me to never get mad, just get in their wallet and extract your revenge that way.

It's never good from a legal standpoint to discuss money. No matter how established a hobbyist is or a provider is. You never know when someone just got busted and gave up all their passwords.
I put a disclaimer in every ad I have ever written: if you mention rates, you won't get a response.
It seems to work for me, I never have hagglers contact me.
As for me, I never change my rates, I never offer specials, I don't offer discounts to regulars or for any other reason.
The price is the price. No confusion, no discussion, no haggling.

I think when you offer specials as you seem to be doing in Dallas, hobbyist might feel like you've already gone down some, so you might be willing to negotiate.
That's an extremely poor attitude in my opinion, they should be happy for the specials! But could be a possible explanation.

Just to clarify-- contacting a lady and asking if her special is still available is NOT haggling. Haggling is this:

Hey there! I've never seen you, but I'd like ___ and ____ and ____ in my session and I wish to pay you ______ (lower than even my lowest advertised rate). THAT or what the lovely Olivia mentioned above is haggling.

That does make sense. I was getting a lot of hagglers at my previous 325/hr but now that it's changed I've not had many complaints. I had to bit the bullet this time but I don't think specials should be offered normally when a new provider comes to town.

I'll have to put something in my ad or profile. Like I said this isn't the normal for Denver guys so that would be why it's not on my website.
