Releases this weekend.
For me, Annihilation was just OK. Visually it was good but it was inferior compared to Alex Garland's first film Ex Machina. It's OK if you want moderately entertaining sci-fi horror via On Demand, not at a theater.

Looking forward to:

- The Purge prequel
- A Quiet Place
- Slender Man
- The Wreck It Ralph and Incredibles sequels (it's a dad thing)

Saw Red Sparrow. Good flick with lots of twists and tits. Worth a watch. Jennifer Lawrence is a babe.

I enjoyed the visuals on the big screen. Lots of eye candy and things to look at. Sure, not the best film, but anyone remotely interested in sci fi and enjoyed the trailer should check it out.

So since the last post...

Deadpool 2 had me rolling. Avengers was great. Enjoyed Solo. Ant Man and The Wasp was badass. Been pretty decent so far.

Missed out on Jurassic World, anyone catch it? Also Sicario sequel looks really good.

Looking out for a few others this year. The Meg looks fun, Venom, and new Halloween sequel with Jamie Lee Curtis has to be atop my must see movies of 2018. Check the trailer if you havent yet.

Good weekend to catch a double header, or take two dates even. These look intriguing.

Love the trailer music...

I saw it yesterday. If you like the Mission Impossible series, it’s typical Tom Cruise with tons of fantastic stunts, and some cheesy lines. You’ll love it. It was full of nonstop action, and the beautiful Rebecca Ferguson; which was an absolute plus for me. Her eyes are stunning. My kids love The Greatest Showman, and she’s gorgeous in it; I was excited to watch her role with Mr. Cruise, and I think she did a great job. I truly enjoyed it.

Finally saw this myself. Great movie. Still like the first the best, but this was the best one since then. Enjoyed it a lot. All the characters were great.

I’m glad you saw it and enjoyed it. I agree about the first one still being the best - but it was a fun movie, for sure.

What’s next on your list?
