Candy you are a stranger to the truth. Then again, if you wrote the absolute truth then you would not have anything stupid to say.

I give credit to the SEAL team for putting THEIR asses on the line, the years of training, the hard work, and their sacrifice. I give credit to Obama for (making the gutsy choice) making a decision, any decision that saves American lives but only for that decision that would be made by almost every other American out there (some gutsy call right?)

Some one once said that a fish rots from the head down. When you have a president who takes scant notice of day to day events (besides campaigning) then the lower echelon take their cues from that. Truman said the Buck Stops Here and it does...right in the Oval Office. It takes a leader to make the really tough choices and to punish his own people who step out of line. This where Obama completely falls apart. Remember Enron? Ken Lay was a friend of George W. Bush and he called on Bush for help. Bush told him that it was not going to happen. That was leadership. We have thugs in the IRS who should have been fired when what they did was discovered whether it was legal or not (since there is a debate). That would have been leadership but he failed and continues to fail as you fail in making a cogent argument.

That was leadership....to be friends with Ken Lay? To fucking run from him when the whole state of Texas wanted to fry Lay;'s ass! That is your idea of leadership? That was politically smart to do at the time.

On to Osama....Do you not understand the fucking shit storm that could have backfired if that was not Osama? We send in special forces into a country and they scramble oh say a fighter jet and blow one of our choppers out of the air or it gets shot down from the ground. You make it sound as if the mission was easy, a no brainer. You disrespecr the servicemen who actually see combat. Real combat.

Read this book, you will then see who I do respect in the ,military.

Sometimes I wonder if you're two people WTF. It is leadership to say NO to your friend when he has violated the law. Especially when you have the power to change the outcome.

As for the OP, Sean Hannity had her on his show last night but I guess you didn't see, know, or care since it was on Fox.

It would have been political suicide

You are acting as if saying no to a criminial is great leadership.

Now I freely admit, I have shown you no respect. You have kindly dodged the combat question. I have said I respect soldiers that have been in actual combat. So far you have presented nothing in the way of combat experience.

People like you are a disgrace to combat soldiers, you lump yourself in their league, which demeans just wtf they do. You demand respect for the military as a whole, I selectively give that respect out to those that have earned it.

I watch Fox but not on Saturday night. Is this yet another deflection. Have you no praise for the man who ordered her rescue? Or is it a no brainer to send troops in harms way? Easy mission, nobody will get hurt but the bad guys.

Bush could only change things after Lay was convicted.

But why would he?

Repercussions aside and for all of the shortcomings, both real and perceieved, Bush has enough of a sense of justice that he might reduce the sentence, but I doubt he would issue a pardon.

He wouldn't be able to face his mother and father.

WTF, I am going to say this one time just for your benefit. I have revealed my profession on this site but there are hundreds if not thousands of teachers within the metropolitan Kansas City area so I feel safe. I have also revealed that I am a veteran which narrows things some but still I feel safe. If I told this board about what body parts were damaged or why I go to the VA for what then I think that it is too much of a risk. It is very easy for you to cast disrespect when you know that I can't post a DD 214, or a picture, or even a newspaper headline. Why don't you go blow some veteran who is homeless and really do something for your country. Like I said, this the only time I will respond to this stupidity and you on this topic.

By all accounts that's a major factor in his policy making decisions.

I've already told you JD that getting butt fucked on some Naval ship don't count as combat.

It takes a leader to make the really tough choices and to punish his own people who step out of line. Like Nixon and Shrub always did? I wonder how Scooter Libby feels about that? Well mopboy, you sure tore my ass up with that one...NOT (and never). As I said in my post you quoted (but didn't read, obviously), "Let's suspend reality and use your 'logic.'" Does your head hurt when it explodes while talking out of both sides of your mouth?

Hmmm, methinks he believes it counts as "hand to hand combat" when it's merely ATM.
