if You want an automatic weapon - my recommendation for the best bang for buck - price, reliability, and ability to service/part availability - is the Ruger AC - 556 - in long or short barrel. My short barrel folding stock is very reliable and accurate . And they are at good prices - but it takes almost a year to get a tax stamp approval transfer through the BATFE.

Much more reliable than bump stocks.

and the 3-shot burst selector is a real nice option when conserving ammo with multiple targets - as facing a DPST rioting mob with Molotov cocktails and hand grenades!

I think bump stocks are dumb, but I don't want any precedent for banning accessories, so I oppose banning them.

I also oppose the NFA and think automatics should be legal. Infringing on your own rights out of fear of your opponents is the dumbest thing one can do.
