hair color and/or length does not matter to me in the least..

i've seen providers with blonde, brown, black, red, green, blue, purple hair..

also, ladies with super short pixie.. to super long hair down to their beautiful back sides..

face, body, service - that's what matters the most..!

Yeah-- the length is another subject.

I am fortunate that I am a natural redhead. Meaning, I didn't lose ALL my hair during the chemo process. However, it did thin considerably, so my hair has gone from being waist length to a pixie cut. And honestly, I LOVE it. Guys who have known me for years have commented on how many years it took off my face. So, I can't say I'll ever have super long hair again!!

To me it would be more practical to get wigs of different colors/lengths and keep your own hair natural....which incidentally I decided to grow my hair out from being buzzed/bald and am taking a collagen supplement made by Vital Proteins. Marine Collagen to be exact....from my research apparently really boosts hair growth and has anti inflammatory properties.
I know a korean gal that ordered a huge box of fish skins from korea and cooked up her own batch , eats that stuff every morning with apples ughhhh lol(but at 50 looks 30)

Yeah-- I don't think I could go hard core enough to go cooking fish skins-- but I do have a regular supplement regiment plus some really good Korean skin care. I'm a legit 40 (I advertise my age) but I generally pass for around 32-ish.

I had once considered advertising younger than I am.. but I'm a proud mama and there's no way I could just never talk about my kids..ever. And their ages would always give away mine.

I've had hair in every color of the rainbow, at one time or another, and I've absolutely loved them all! I do agree, however; that it must be 'fitting' or flattering. With the vivid colors it can very easily become 'too much'. When I was still in Restaurants you wouldn't believe how many little old couples, and others you would expect to be taken aback, we're actually very complimentary! I heard all the time how my Pink or Lavender hair was simply perfect for me. If you are confident in yourself, people will support that.

BUT....

Having said that I must also say this: The world no longer works on intention. It doesn't matter if your intentions were of the highest merrit, what matters today is perception. How you are perceived is 9 times out of 10 what you ARE to most people. I definitely noticed a difference in how people treated me with and without the crazy colors..

I have found a happy medium, and I'm good with it. My hair is definitely BRIGHT, but looks beautiful. I get tons of positive comments every day, and I appreciate each and every person that gives them!!

Just my thoughts... GRACE: I'm sure you look beautiful, and if YOU love it continue to ROCK that ish' girl!

I have always preferred dark brown hair on women. I’m not against blondes or redheads either. The girl I’m currently seeing is a blonde. But brunettes are my favorite.

That said, when I see a girl with purple, green, or pink hair, along with all the tattoos and alternate piercings, I think “there’s a girl with Daddy issues. I must have her!”

As to perceived "daddy issues".... I just rock the hair, I don't go for the heavily tatted or pierced thing.

Two points. Judging and aesthetics of what we like are two different things. Even if I dint judge someone with pink hair, I might choose to spend my money on a gal with a hair color I like better.

Second, sure, in an ideal world people shouldn’t judge, silly who’re board or not. But has anything in his life experiences EVER suggested to you that this is an ideal world?

I work with a guy in his late 40's with brilliant blue hair. So not much phases me.

I don't care what your hair color is, all I ask is you do it right, own it, and have fun with it.

Your absolutely right TushHog, we like what we like.

However, the notion that because a lady has pink hair and or tats isn't as classy, or is of lesser social standing than a lady without tattoos and unaltered hair, in this less than ideal world, is hilarious.

Yeah, but some of us clean up pretty well. Take me to the barbershop, get out my good clothes, and you can take me to Federal Court and I fit right in. You can’t clean up pink hair and tats (easily) and make them look in place at counsel table.

That doesn’t deal with intrinsic moral worth, or class, unless we mean class in the sense of socio-economic classes. But I can clean up fit in a ton of places that pink hair and tats can’t. I’m not saying that’s necessarily right, but it’s a fact.

Fitting in is a matter of conformity. Pretty much everything you've mentioned can be easily covered if need be in order to conform with a particular situation. I know plenty of lawyers with far more tattoos than I'd ever desire to have.

It also has very little to do with socio-economic class. I knew a few who are WAY off the reservation in terms of their style choice-- because they have so much money that they don't have to do a single damn thing that they don't want to do.
