Letsgetreal: umm, I usually don't just show up at a strangers house uninvited lol. Would love to meet you. As long as people are nice--I have no problems. Again, I'm sure this is not best avenue, but it's the only avenue. I was hoping I'd get more constructive things other than the $ issue... Rants like this usually flame negativity (attn whore talk etc), but, I am genuinely curious. If it's something benign like tax season, Easter, bad timing, then so be it. I like the discussion. I like what I do. It's hard to do what I do if no one calls, you know? And appointments are bad areas to discuss this, for obvious reasons. Yes, I could pm previous clients, but that is a waste and annoying. The men here have their area, an I don't care what is said there, so I just wanted some feedback. If I "acted" "classless", then so be it. If there is another way to get honest opinions without being weird and super sneaky like opening men account, then let me know. I want low volume, real, NICE, people. Did I make $1500 in one day in Montgomery at old rates, yes. I do not like that. I'd rather make 6 off of 2 gentleman. In the restaurant biz, I preferred having $2000 in sales off of 10 guests, as opposed to quick service serving 50 guests an even making more tips.

I do not see this as venting--you would know the difference. I care. No, I won't do bbcimnqns or Greek....just my choice. But, if anything I'm doing or not within my menu please enlighten. This was not about a price war. I was getting so many texts at $$ that I was pissing people off. My income has remained steady, due to the other site. I just have met some very nice men here, and want to find a balance. Does hat make sense?

I don't mind a debate as long as everyone stays adult about it. Everyone has a different opinion and I respect those opinions whether I agree with them or not and I would hope others do the same.
For me, if a lady wants to be low volume that's great and I wouldn't be pissed off if I called and she said she was not playing for the rest of the week but others might take offense. For me outcall only is more difficult and just adds logistical issues but for others it may be preferred. All I can offer is my opinion and that is if you were offering incall for 200 I would definitely be a player because you are a very pretty lady and have good reviews. If it's outcall or a higher rate I'll have to pass but that's just me.
I may be the odd man out but just about anything I do in life is based on how much it costs versus what I get in return. My house, boat, vehicles, vacations, restaurants, firearms, wine, dive gear, etc were/are all chosen based on bang for the buck. Maybe I'm just cheap but to me money does matter.

Bang for the buck. In AL I have yet to drop more than $$. I am not against that. But in over a decade of hobbying I can count on a single hand the ladies I have met in the high end arena who were worth the price of admission. My most exp night was $5k with a couple porn stars at the Bunny Ranch.

Yea like many before my area Montgomery 400$ is waaaay too especially when we're going to be horny again soon! I've dropped 300$ and I've dropped $60. And just being honest I the best time I've had was with a provider who's price was somewhere in the middle. So I'll say it's location quantity of providers clientele and other factors

Allow me to break down the Alabama market for you.

Birmingham- 300 an hour is tops and you would do well there as a "new" face since it has been a rather stale market for years.

Huntsville- Guys bitch about 200 an hour since 180 is the most common rate. And some even run "specials" at close to 100 from time to time. Yet being "new" you may garner a select few who will see you once.

Montgomery- Just a totally fucked up town no matter how you cut it. I avoided it as much as possible yet the economy does support 300 an hour so your call.

Tuscaloosa- College town need I say more. Yet at age 37 you can play the MILF fantasy role for 18 to 21 year olds. That is if you don't mind some overweight smelly college kid who cannot get laid in a whorehouse with 500 wrapped around his dick wanting to call you Stiffler's Mom for an hour or so (we all know the attractive college age guys can land their own free MILF).

Age has a lot to do with this also. When 20 somethings go for 250 why would anyone go 400 for older? Hell I have a problem paying 2k an hour for someone who is over 33 personally.

When you ask 200 for an hour you have 90 per cent of the market on eccie still interested but when you go to 400 an hour you only have less than 5 per cent still interested,you have cut almost all of your prospective clients out of consideration.I would almost bet you have not got more than 1 or 2 clients that have paid 400 an hour off eccie.I know 50 guys who are professional hobbyists and none of them have ever paid 400 for an hour and only a very few of them have paid 300 for an hour.

Just saw this thread and wanted to say that its Really different depending on were u are. I moved to Texas for a few years and catered to more overnights and multi hour appointments and the hourly rates there were between 200 or 300 hr. You have to take the economy of the area into consideration . Here in the Huntsville area not so many Overnights or multi hour appointments so To encourage this economy I try to keep the rates reasonable Around 150 hr 100 half hour but I offer discounted rates for Longer Appointments like 220 for 90 mins and 1000 for overnights Because I want it to be as easy as possible for someone to be able to fit me in there budget. Well I hope everyone finds what they seek Happy and Safe trails ladies and Gentlemen!

Your situation is totally different from the original posters. For one....your a different body type and people have commented in your reviews that your pictures don't match how you look. You are not GFE and do CBJ. Most of your reviews are 100 dollars or less paid for Half hours. And locally you are not one of the "go to" ladies suggested here for stellar service.

There arent many ladies that cater to multihours in huntsville..........but those that do very few especially ones on backpage charge 1000 or more. Maybe moreso 700 to 1300. Your initial rates effect this more. If I can see a lady who can be seen for as little as 80 dollars simple economics will tell me negotiating for less might be an option. Even if your hourly rate is 150......you would have to see five clients that day to account for one overnight for 1,000. Most ladies on huntsville BP charge between 400 and 700 for overnights here locally. On this site with reputable independents......800 to 1300. And also you have to account overnights are always negotiable......just because a guy says he paid 1500, doesn't mean he has....some times the provider may give a deal and tell him to post another rate entirely in his review. And also most ladies haven't done overnights and fewer have reviews for them such as yourself.

Since most ladies claim at most to not be high volume and see mostly 2 clients a day, if I made an offer for say 700-800 for you locally it wouldn't be too outlandish. Sometimes how low you set your initial rates dictates what a guy is willing to pay. For me I like rate incentive. If your rates locally per hour were 200 to 300 that would change things. But they are not. Your in a different bracket entirely from the original poster rate wise. Also a decline in your advertised rates isn't usually a good sign. Usually if you had advertised for a good while in other cities.......your service acumen will be known to be good, you will have established regulars, and can post higher rates since you have steady business. A sharp decline in your rate no matter the market may show me the product is not as good as it once was....or more risky.

So if this lady cuts her rates too much it can be a catch 22. Because she started off so high.

The reputable independents that are here might command that in certain cases as word gets around, but I can name only about two ladies locally Id pay that much for because they are known for exceptional service. Unless a lady had many stellar reviews for examples such as Brandywine or ITTybittykitty, or a touring provider who is in multiple cities with multiple reviews...... I wouldnt pay 1000 or more just because.......

I'd be happy to pay PhillyChick $300 outcall to my hotel in Birmingham. $400 with little or no history at that rate, no. You may do better increasing your rates in smaller increments. I applaud you for asking the gentlemen here for their opinion.

Kissme, I think you are priced low, but I defer to Mr. Gimmie. Perhaps it is a YMMV situation. If the market will not support 1 hour @ $250/hr. you have adjusted to the demand.

Each market is supply and demand. It looks like ECCIE in Alabama has low supply. I admit I do not know the market and hobby very little and discretely when I do. I wish you all happy hobbying.

Well First off You don't know me but any way I wasn't speaking on the situation really more the economy in different areas But for someone who has never saw me your suddenly an expert on me funny! So let's see according to you I don't do bbj OK and you know this how because the few reviews on this board say cbj hmm maybe that's Because my regular clients know BBJ depends on a persons hygiene so they don't add that in the review but I'm sure if you had done your research you would have found well over 50 reviews that Seem to speak a lot different then your claims here So try not to speak on a experience you have never had with me! And just so happens I cater locally and do several multi hour and overnights and my reviews on this board even are not bad So if you look at the other boards it seems a lot of locals here use me!And my rates flow with what's normal for each place I work whether it be Texas Tampa or Huntsville ! Yes that is what I try to do adjust to the rates I see when coming to a area and I like what I do and Really don't see the need to charge 300 or 400 a hour I kinda feel like when you see Ladies advertising 60 and 80 dollar specials in a area why would they give you what amounts to some peoples mortgage or car note. So I research the rates for the area and go from there. Just because someone charges more doesn't always mean your going to have a better time. You may see Sally advertise for 400 and get there and she has a nasty attitude But you could See Betsy for 150 and she might be great you just never know really!

You might feel worth more, but in this market even with my reviews and history and looks, I am still set at $$$ in and $$$$ out and it works great for me, you might want to try lowering your rates.
