Using the incidents you cited as a basis for categorization, the Benghazi affair can easily be broken down into at least five separate attacks -- hence at least five separate incidents in one place, starting with the bomb attacks. This is not exactly the same list I saw a couple of weeks ago (I guess it has been sanitized for errors) but lets go with this.

January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.
A U.S. cultural center is attacked, and five policemen (Indian) die, by Islamic miltants.
June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al Qaeda attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.
A truck bomb is detonated outside a U.S. consulate, killing 12 Pakistani civilians, by Islamic militants.
October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of "Bali Bombings." No fatalities. There were thre bombings on this day in Indonesia and they killed 202 people including 7 Americans. The bomb at the consulate caused minor damage and no one was killed. The bombing was done by Islamic militants.
February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.
This attack occurred in Karachi and not Islamabad. Motorcycling riding gunman targeted the Pakistani military guards outside the consulate. Islamic militants were responsible.
May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al Qaeda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.
This attack was on buildings housing westerners, it was not an embassy or diplomatic mission. The Vinnell was the final target and had a Virginia based training firm. Nine Americans were killed by Islamic militants.
July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.
This attack was on the U.S. and Israeli embassies. Islamic militants killed two Uzibekistani policemen.
December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.
This attack was overwhelmed by local Saudi guard units which resulted in the deaths of the terrorists and staffers by the Saudi guard unit. No Americans were killed. This attack was carried out by Islamic militants.
March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. (I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name "David Foy." This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what's considered American soil.)

September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting "Allahu akbar" storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.
Gunman failed to penetrate the U.S. embassy and a huge truck bomb failed to detonate. The Syria forces killed the attackers and one policeman was killed. This was carried out by Islamic militants.
January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.
A single RPG round was fired into an empty building by a Marxist group.
March 18, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.
Since the idiots missed the embassy and hit a girls school does this really count as an attack? Anyway, no Americans were killed and this attack was carried out by Islamic militants.
July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.
No Americans were killed in this attack. Three of those killed were the terrorists. This attack was carried out by Islamic militants.
September 17, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months. Terrorists dressed as policemen attacked the embassy (not a consulate this time) with rockets, bombs, and small arms. One American was killed. LeA naturalized American named Susan Elbaneh, a Lebanese born citizen with ties to a terrorism (her cousin) was waiting to get approval for her Yemani husband for permission to immigrate to the U.S. This attack was carried out by Islamic militants.


Seems to be some things in common here; all but one attack was carried out by Islamic militants, all of the attacks fell under the security shield of the host country, most of the attackers were killed, and very few Americans died (18) and this was in all of eight years and not one night. The press covered these attacks unlike Benghazi, the U.S. investigated these attacks immediately unlike Benghazi, and it is also obvious that you should do some research before you post some pretty thin stories and have a lot of inaccuracies. Your original source counted the casualties higher because they counted the dead terrorists as well.
