Exactly! You will not always have your mother there to change your diapers. Shit happens, especially in your diapers.

I never accused you of being hypocritical .. just "selecto-critical" ... and have on occasion accused you of modifying the discussion point to fit your perspective in order to attempt to appear to be winning the discussion.

Obaminable is simply not taking responsibility for the negatives he creates, but at the same time he beats his chest over the positive results occuring on his watch. It's arguably not hypocritical, just intellectually dishonest. The same with the Secretary of State, who, apparently, has convinced herself that she is so popular and "bullet proof" that she can verbalize taking the blame and then dodge the consequences of it in 2016.....like she was dodging sniper fire on the tarmac in Europe! I think she got that from Bill.

National security is a president's responsibility, CBJ7. Hillary is just a deputy. Try again, moron.

"part of the sec of states job description" is to lie and take a bullet for the President?

If part of the sec of state's job is to provide security for the Ambassadors, and she was informed of the request for additional security, having been aware of the earlier attacks and attempts on the lives of persons in the U.S. facilities in Libya,

then the President should not wait for a resignation, but call her home, fire her at the airport, and call her a cab at her cost.

He should not even be obliged to call Bill.

Exclamation Courageous

Hillary was courageous enough and did the right thing by accepting responsibility for this misfortune.

If the late ambassador did ask for more security, but did not get it, then the Secretary of State needs to take some of the blame for that security lapse.

. . . However, remember that there are literally thousands of people under her and someone dropped the ball when they failed to bring the message to her.

I think the ambassador was a closet republican who offed himself before the election to give Romney a bump...

Default State Department Followed Benghazi Attack as It Happened

State Department Followed Benghazi Attack as It Happened

Charlene Lamb, deputy assistant secretary of state for international programs in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, said a security agent activated a danger-notification system as the attack began shortly before 10 p.m. local time on Sept. 11.

“From that point on, I could follow what was happening in almost real time,” Lamb said in written testimony prepared for a hearing today by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which has been investigating the attack and whether security was adequate.

State Department officials said yesterday they had never concluded the attack grew out of a protest over a video depicting the Prophet Muhammad, as some Obama administration officials had said last month. The officials, who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity, said there had been no protest at the U.S. consulate that day and the attack came suddenly.
