Was he? Really? Clearly, he was not a politician until he ran for office, though you might agree that he wasn't a politician until he beat Hillary or after he was sworn in to office - maybe? Kind of like he wasn't a rayycists when he was a Demonicrat but was when he ran for office as a Republican.

I didn't know Trump was racist...I just thought he didn't like to rent to black folks.

And, Yes, once you run and win the office of President, you are officially a politician.

far as i know in later years when Donald Trump was running the Trump Org there are no issues like this. also you have people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who love to call anyone racist and neither has ever claimed Donald Trump has ever acted in a racist manner or said anything racist around them and they have known Trump for decades. they've spoken privately many times and if Trump ever made a racist comment they would have said so by now.

Well... thanks to science anyway. Good thing they invented Velcro shoe fasteners. Otherwise you would have to go around barefoot.

1980s: Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, accused another one of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Brown said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: They put us all in the back.”
1989: In a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four Black teenagers and one Latino teenager — the “Central Park Five” — were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary.
1991: A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a Black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”
1992: The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred Black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices.

Hillary Clintons "involvement" was mere speculation to hear Democrats and the media tell it but this trial put that fact, as testified to by Clinton's campaign manager, Robby Mook, on the record in a court of law.
I'm sure Durham would have liked a win but some very smart people are saying that he got a great deal of evidence by first hand testimony to use in up coming trials where this information may not have been admissible if not for this trial.

Short term memory issues are a telltale sign of deterioration of Executive Function. Most have said that ever since Michael Chertoff cleared her and Billy of Whitewater shenanigans. Well at least he as a new job now - as head of the "Official" Propaganda, ooops, err, uhm, I mean Disinformation Board

Anyway, thanks for your historically accurate captions of these photos, based upon your colorizing of history.
Trump telling Sugar Ray that Don King will show him where black people have to go to gamble, down the street.
Trump explaining to the Reverends that they and Sammy Davis Jr. can't gamble there, but the white guy can
Trump whispering to Alveda King that she cannot use the restroom at the White House, even if she has to pee really biggly
Trump informing the Reverend, that he wasn't allowed to actually eat in the restaurant, but could maybe catch a sandwich - back behind the kitchen
