Anyway, I'm curious to know what American workers want in wages there if Tyson is willing to go that high for undocumented workers. A company that size knows the risk from the political backlash in today's heightened climate. Obviously, they think it is worth it to increase their bottom line.

Are Americans becoming too greedy for unskilled labor jobs? That is a bigger issue to address for a company like Tyson and many others IMO. This is not the time to hire undocumented laborers. They are clearly doing it for a reason that makes financial sense to them and their shareholders. A decision of this magnitude is not just signed off on by the CEO. Their Board of Directors approved this as well in order to drastically cut costs.

You can see that in the history of South Omaha around the area of where the stockyards used to be which also included quite a few meat packing plants. You can also see it around other meat packing plants in other towns across the midwest. At the end of the Vietnam War quite a few Vietnamese joined the work force at meat packing plants.
