Before the fight was even announced, the hotels and promoters had dibs on 99% of the tickets. Hotels use them for their high rollers, etc...the rest go to the ultra-rich...and famous people etc...
The broker I know works with some sports agents or whatever. I paid $7,300 for my ticket (well I don't have the ticket in hand yet). If, for whatever reason he can't procure the ticket then I will watch it at the Foundation Room. Yes, I will get my cash back if he can't come through...

This. The last Mayweather fight I paid to watch was De La Hoya - Mayweather 8 years ago. Easily the worst / most boring fight I've seen since Jr. Golden Gloves.
Still, I'll probably be suckered into going to a bar to watch it. 10 years overdue. I hope Pacquiao wipes the floor with him.

Just wait a week...it'll be on cable...and I'm pretty sure the result of the fight will still be the same. Although...it is boxing, so no guarantee...

lol manny has always fought like that in all his fights and since when did he ever look tired in the later rounds? he can fight in the 12th round with the same energy he fought in the 1st.

I agree with WU's analysis of Mayweather's boring ass but effective strategy.
I'm still curious, but not enough to pay through the nose for it. Personally I'll be downloading the torrent an hour after the fight is over....for free. And giving zero fucks.

Didn't vote because I don't accept the premise...it would surprise me a lot if either fighter dominates; i.e., kicks ass.
It's sounding like most of us experts agree that if the damn fight is not memorable, then Mayweather will get the W...and that is the probable outcome.
But if Pac can cut off the ring, unwrap Floyd off himself when he grabs and brings that forearm up into his opponent's throat, throw about 7 punches for every 4 from Mayweather, and - maybe most of all - not let him rest so much (Mayweather typically boxes about one minute of each round and rests the other two.), maybe then Pac will make it a memorable fight, and he will win.

I fully expect Mayweather to win (not WANT him to, but expect)...
but, I expect to see a LOT more out of PacMan than we have been seeing, neither him or Roach are dumb and they've had a lot of lead time up to this fight, PM may surprise us all!

This! Even with Mayweather's dodge until the last few rounds strategy the difference here is his opponent will match up. Pacman's always been consistently energized and a power puncher in every fight. Mayweather lacks power...
