Screening Tools - Do's and Don'ts

OK...lets assume your primary goal is to be safe.
Here are some thoughts on the security model presented so far...

1) References from your competitors - Guess we all agree...No legal business would even consider it.
2) WebTools like P411 and others. - If you are unaware that there are both male and female LE actively on every reference board...Grow up. They are on all of these boards as well and have a very nice budget for doing so.

If you want to know why a hobbiest may be angry, consider what you are asking...once you have his info...he has no idea where it may go.
Conversely, he knows nothing about you.

I can sympathize with your concerns, but beware that all of these screening processes are relatively useless for your security.

If you want to be safe, meet him for lunch or a drink before your first session...somewhere public.
Best references are not the girls, they are your competition...try asking the guys you know if they know him.
If they have been with him in a SC watching him get a BBBJ, you can be pretty sure, he is not LE...

That don't mean you will never have to watch your pretty lil ass, cuz you should always be doing that when you are with someone that is clearly predatory.
Remember, everyone can bite...you only want ones that will nibble.
