- The media campaign, initiated Sunday, April 3, was launched four days after the Russian Military had left Bucha. During this period, there was not a single report bearing similarity to Ukraine’s accusations.

There is video of the UKR-Nazi Azov unit asking if he can shoot unarmed men.. the reply is yes.. he could.

So you believe Ukrainians are slaughtering their own people?
Wow... Just wow!
And Zelensky is faking it when he reacts to Bucha:
Why are you emotionally invested in a lying sociopathic thug like Putin anyway? You need to do some serious soul-searching!
Wtf did the Ukrainians do to justify an invasion???

So would I.
The OP started by stupidly likening our Ukraine policy to "Vietnamization". Now he's flailing around for an even stupider analogy to WW2.

I believe National Socialists would murder a few hundred folks if they thought it would assist their war effort by getting billions of dollars in aid or bringing allies into the field on their side.

Maybe Zelensky doesn't know who did the killings? But you do know he has an acting backround, right?

LOL.. I'm emotionally invested? LOL... You're the one losing your mind that someone doesn't agree with you on this. My point is simply that the US has no strategic interests in Ukraine. There is no reason to harm our own economy in pursuit of foreign policy aims that don't further our interests. BUt I guess those 46 bio-weapon labs we've now admitted to might have something to do with it.

LOL. Why? I did my time in uniform in the service of my Nation. Not the Ukraine. Why do you think Ukraine should come ahead of US interests? Why are you so emotionally invested in a conflict on the other side of the globe that has nothing to do with us other than a lot of Democrats have made a lot of money through the corruption there?
Why do you take at face value anything that comes from the UKR? Did you happen to see anything about the UKR violations of the Minsk Accords yet?

Pissing money down a hole to entrench more government and to pay off (kick back) selected special interests is what it reads to me. We don't have a shortage of government tentacles, like creating a new agency or department. But CONTROL?!? Absolutely!!

Haven't quite figured out short vs long term implications.
I do know this....if Biden doesn't either step up and arm Ukraine properly....this will be a drag on the world economy and may convince Trump to run again and he will damn sure give Putin the whole of Europe!
|
Trump would "give" Putin Europe? nonsense. your TDS is flaring up today. take some aspirin and take a nap.
let's review shall we ? Putin annexes Crimea on Obama's watch. does nothing on Trump's watch. invades Ukraine on Biden's watch.
what's the common denominator here? two weak pansy Democrats in office.
still believing that Trump Russia collusion nonsense? "if" that was true why didn't Trump "give" Europe to Putin then? were they waiting for Trump's second term to fuck over Europe?
bahahahaaaaa

Yeah, that's plausible (sarcasm alert). Talk about a conspiracy theory! NATO and the US have backed Ukraine from Day 1. No need to massacre your own people to obtain more aid. Some of the victims were males of fighting age. Why kill your own citizens when you'll need them to fight all those Russian reservists you keep mentioning?
Maybe Zelensky doesn't know who did the killings? But you do know he has an acting backround, right?
Yeah, as a comedian. Comedians like to laugh, not cry.

I already refuted your bio-labs narrative. Go back and read my post #30. We have immense strategic interests in what happens in Europe. If Putin succeeds in bringing Ukraine to heel, he won't stop there. Go visit Poland, the Baltic states, Finland and Sweden and check out the pulse of public opinion there.

Lol - that's called begging the question. I never said Ukraine should come ahead of our interests. I never pretended it's not as corrupt as Russia. I don't want us to send troops, but it's in our interest to make Putin pay a big price for thinking he can get away with invading and subjugating a neighbor. I'm rationally invested, not emotionally.
Why do you take at face value anything that comes from the UKR? Did you happen to see anything about the UKR violations of the Minsk Accords yet?

I already asked you wtf did Ukraine do to justify being invaded? If you want to argue Putin was somehow justified due to violations of the Minsk Accords, go right ahead... I'm all ears!

Awww fuck! If Poofter is in agreement with me, I need to re-evaluate everything!
Waco just handed your ass to you in post #36.
Putin only uses poison gas on Muslim kids, not on his fellow orthodox Christian co-religionists. (They get polonium-210.)

that was kinda funny in a sick way.
As far as Wacko handing me my ass...do you actually think Trump would not have already give Ukraine to Putin?
The only reason he didn't hand it to him earlier is because the makeup of the Senate at the time was pro Ukraine....as it is now but for how long. I think that is what CT is pointing out. At some point the Senate and WH will change hands to a more pro Russian administration. Which is Trump. He (CT) thinks that Putin can outlast our pain.
So while I agree with you....in Realpolitik terms CT has a very good point.

Absolutely not. I could give you 10 reasons why not, but I refuse to dignify your batshit crazy TDS or engage in pointless speculation about what an ex-President might do.

True....tis speculation on my part. Unfortunately that is how we make choices in politics.
You and I are also speculating that Biden forcing Ukraine is overall not a good thing.

I think FDR refused to accept a conditional surrender or a negotiated settlement in your typical european tradition, unconditional surrender was his requirement.
