What do you consider a hijack? The provider I responded to who was stating her opinion that the solution to this topic is a private forum or the FACT that on this site there is a demonstrated track record that there is no such thing as a private forum?

You read an awful lot into a one sentence reply. I have no idea how you reached the conclusion that I was referring to you. The OP was talking about people judgmental of others in the ISO forum, now this thread become another BBFS thread. That’s exactly what he was talking about. I would consider that a thread hijack. He used the BBFS thread from the ISO forum as an example of how people get away from the original post to get on their soapbox of disapproval. If someone starts an ISO thread looking for BBBJ, then I start posting about how BBBJs are nasty and only CBJs should be discussed openly, I would consider than a thread hijack.

Go to any online forum--- for that matter, just look at the comment section of any online news article--- and you'll see hate and vitriol that puts anything here to absolute shame.

I think has a lot to do with the heavy competition and the lack of education and social skills of a lot of the providers on here. I hate to say that, but it is what the evidence suggests. I also think there is a little manipulation on the part of the guys on the site to keep us separate and, therefore, weak. Many girls are not making enough money, don't have a regular client base and do not spend any time thinking of ways to change those things.

There are absolutely no requirement or training necessary to become a provider, so any crazy, ugly, or stupid girl can post an ad, and many do. They do not take this job or themselves seriously and look at it from a business stand point.

I stayed a provider because I see a very lucrative industry in the raw and I see opportunity in it. I take it very seriously and intend to be in it, in some way, for the rest of my life. It is what I know. I want to see us ALL do well, because it ensures I will do well. I understand how much unity and loyalty can benefit us all but I seem to be alone in that.

Can't say I stay up at night crying about it. I find it comforting to see how little real competition I have.

I have to add that the ladies in Australia, where it is legal, do not treat each other so badly. There are many groups and girls seem to go out of their way to help each other. It seems they take more pride in it then we do in America. Maybe illegal=shameful=angry??

I totally agree with most of that, especially the part about "social skills". Which equates to business skills. I don't believe there is any measurable manipulation from the guys, it's more of a self-destructive nature from some of the providers. A good business would stay away from anything controversial, but I see some of the same "outspoken" providers jumping in all the time. That tells me a few things, 1) they aren't busy, 2) they do not understand it is a lose / lose proposition for them and 3) they are struggling with good business common sense. Remember what happened when the Chick-Fil-A CEO opened his mouth about a controversial topic?

Just my thoughts from someone who owns several business franchises & independent start ups on a national level. But some people say I am facing heavy competition, lacking education and social skills ... so maybe I'm wrong

And I have no idea what thread-jacking is. Maybe it's like car-jacking but pertains to clothing. I'll have to Google it.
