Every group has its own concerns about murder, when it strikes someone close to them.

5 people killed in Wilkinsburg in a mass shooting, nobody gives a damn and not one dollar was raised.

However, 11 people who are Jewish, and the entire world takes note, it makes the national news, and they collect 6 million plus dollars, for over 500K per person.

Was it because one set of victims were black, and nobody gives a shit when its a black victim, but, when its 11 white people in Squirrel Hill, which, literally had one other homicide in the last 10 years.

But black folks in black neighborhoods of the burgh and around the burgh have seen hundreds of people killed.

Same thing with the kids who were in the school in Florida, a rich suburban school, with mostly white kids, and a few hispanics and its nationwide cry for gun control.

But, a kid gets shot every other day going to school somewhere in the inner city of the USA, and again, nobody cares.

Its selfish to think you deserve a safe neighborhood more than anyone else, and selfish to think only your crime acts are worth solving or ending.

The problem with the black murder problem in Pittsburgh, and elsewhere is that you are an Uncle Tom if you try to change the black community, talk about the truth, and suggest that the problem is originating from within, and not only from outside, by the white oppressors that keep you down.

Dear lawd I agree with Gabrielle. The sky is falling haha. Sex work violence definitely belongs on this board.

I'm completely for prison reform all the way around but just because something is more common doesn't make it more relevant here. Sex work, yes. Racism, not so relevant unless a girl refused to see someone etc. I can think of many injustices that are heartbreaking but I feel on an escort board hers is relevant.

I'd love to participate with her bailing mothers out for mother's day cause but she has me blocked. Would someone be so kind to tell her I'd love to donate and that cause is awesome?

And how do we know this is an injustice? None of us were there. Yes, the girl is dead. That is sad. But she was on several illegal substances, she stabbed an undercover officer and tried to choke him with her foot while in the car. The officer claims he fired in self defense. Without being there, how can any of us judge this one way or the other - which is what Miss social justice scold is doing. Maybe the officer went too far and deserves to be locked up. Or maybe he felt for his life after being stabbed and choked by a junkie and he resorted to the only option he had. We don't know.

Eventually there will be a trial, the jury will decide.

I'm actually a huge police supporter. They are underappreciated and underpaid for what they do.

The entire thing made no sense and Columbus has long been famous for a corrupt vice squad. She was under arrest but not cuffed in the front seat parked so she couldn't get out of the car? It smells like a bunch of crap. I wasn't there and I'm pretty quick to take the officer's side but I think something was up here.

I agree with you - I support law enforcement. I know I wouldn't want to put my life on the line for the low pay and shitty situations they sometimes have to deal with.

Yes, something may have been up or maybe nothing was up. I guess the point I am trying to make is no one here knows and making judgement at this time is quite premature.

I am a proponent for waiting til a jury hears all the evidence and makes a decision to have a better understanding of what really happened. So I don't think anyone can call this an injustice or an appropriate action until all the evidence is there in front of a jury and they decide.
