Yes, he was added after many years and died under mysterious circumstances. Who knows what he knew?

This has everything to do with lack of money for the people of this country and the president still spending money (our money) hand over fist.
this is hilarious.... so everyone before Obama were too busy to fuck with the animals, so they get a pass, right? ...no way they were out spending taxpayer money...

also i thought the dog was a hypoallergenic breed that they bought because of one of the kids allergies.

Do you really believe that story?

Only Clinton had a young enough child that would be dealing with dog walking. You could go back to Carter but they needed to hang a steak around Amy's neck to get the dog to come anywhere near her. For the Obama's it is about PR. Remember how they polled the American public about the kind of dog to get? I am sure that most Americans know about all about the Portuguese Water Dog.

The only reason the cuts are painful is because Obama is making them painful. The areas where he is cutting, like airports, etc. don't need to be cut. Especially when there are no real cuts, only a slight, very slight, slow down in the rate of growth.

This is a stage play to try to make Republicans look bad. Like they need any help looking bad.

You mean like starting a thread for the purposes of whining about a $100,000 dog walker that isn't?

Republicans don't need any assistance in making themselves look bad!

You are wrong. The sequester legislation required all non-exempt accounts in the budget be cut equally. There is no discretion as to cuts between budget accounts, only within accounts. And each executive department's budget, say the FAA, may have dozens, or even hundreds, of accounts, depending on its complexity.

It's was meant to be cumbersome and painful so it would compel the two sides to negotiate a more logical set of cuts.

Actually Tushie you are wrong! There are no cuts in the current budget. These "cuts" are a reduction in the GROWTH planned for this year. If what you say is true then we will spend less this year than we did last year but that is not true. We are planning on spending MORE than last year but LESS than they wanted to. So ask yourself why is Obama closing down the White House and 149 air traffic control towers if we are spending more than we did the year before.

Which, of course, entirely misses the point of his post. You fucking idiot.

No Timmy, YOU are missing the point. Nothing is being cut. Obama is grandstanding, plain and simple. And people are believing his bullshit. It's amazing, but Obama is the best player at this game I've ever seen.

I thought that was covered in Joe Biden's job description.
