I wholeheartedly disagree with the CEO's views. I fully support the right of private citizens to eat where they want, or not eat where they want, and even to try to convince other private citizens to do the same. What I disagree with is the government telling a business they can't locate in their community because they "don't have the right opinion."

Obviously we cannot force people who get married to have children, but if a couple do not intend to have children there's no purpose for them to get married.

I am well aware that plenty of people get married for purely romantic, self-indulgent reasons when they want to live together but have no children, but that's not the legal purpose of marriage.

Marriage is a legal contract enforced by society through law, and carries both privelidges and obligations.

It's not supposed to be a romantic fling.

Marriage isn't supposed to be just a fun thing to do as part of some romantic illusion. That's not real marriage, and when that's all it is there will be a divorce quite soon.

Allowing people of the same sex to enter into marriage reflects a total misunderstanding of what marriage is, and re-defines it in such way as to eliminate its meaning altogether.

That's why "gay marriage" is a destruction of marriage altogether.
