Hey, don't get me wrong. For my business, where we HAVE to furnish health care and other benefits in order to keep our highly skilled employs, Obama Care evens out the playing field with competitors who offer nothing. They will now have to either furnish healthcare, or pay the fines entailed.
And, this is bad - how? If one is in a business that requires skilled employees why would he/she not want to keep them if they produce? Only whining fools perpetuate a business environment for themselves that is harder than it should be. If needlessly fostering inefficiency and poor quality and service qualifies as having their cake and eating it, too - then more power to them. If the extra money makes up for the hassle and wear and tear then they should keep their mouths shut. No one is holding a gun to their head in order to make them do what they choose to do.

Actually, i would have to throw a few props Jackie's way for his viewpoint on this. It's the rare (successful) conservative who is against something that's good for him, because he believes it bad for the country as a whole.

It's like a construction company whose owner hires permanent employs, pays all of his federal with holdings as per the law, offers all of his workers benefits, and is a responsible member of the community.
Then he has to bid against the guy that hires nothing but contract labor, (often illegal), could care less whether the SS get withheld, pays no benefits, and offeres no benefits what so ever.
Sure, some of the things he does might even be illegal, but it seems nobody cares. He low balls the bid, he get's the job.
He might even screw it up. But in the mean time, you have lost a good contract that could have kept your men working and you in business.
By having the Government mandate that the playing field be evened out, especially in something as expensive as health care, is a plus.
This is rampant in the Houston area. With the numbers of Illegals in the area, it is easy to pick up the crews at any of the various holding points and put them to work. Most are payed in cash. When the job is done, you just don't pick them up.
This has gotten so sophisticated that at some pick up sites, you can even get a "foreman" that has his own ready made crew. You hire the whole package, pay the "foreman, he takes care of his men.

And i say, force businesses, all businesses, to provide health-care to their employees....and tax businesses to pay for the people who aren't employed. This way, the economy fully subsidizes the country's health-care.
