It’s not “bad”, just not traditionally something ladies would do. I do think the current environment makes it a little more necessary for new ladies to reach out to guys who they believe, whether it be from reading their posts or through the provider grapevine, would be a good match.
I’ve never minded, and have made some new friends thanks to ladies being the first to move. It’s a crowded market, and folks are a little skittish. It’s no longer considered improper for ladies to make the first move, if still uncommon.
