Limbaugh has given away millions. It's well documented.

Evidently some people don't get around. Rich people like their money like everyone else and know they are a couple of bad investments, addictions and ex-wives away from losing it.

The "Super Rich" are another story. Howard Hughes locked up in a Vegas penthouse suite doesn't seem so strange now.

But back on topic: I agree some of these blue state governors are not going to let "a good crisis go to waste." They will be looking for a bailout from the feds especially if the Dims sweep the election.

On CNBC this morning, the host asked a guest what could cause us to go into a depression. His answer was a "Democratic Sweep in November." The host said "We don't like to talk politics on this show" which was hilarious because they talk politics all the time on CNBC (Not as much as FoxBusiness admittedly).

Gnadfly, I'm not going to state all of the licenses I have but a CPA license is one of the many. I've never worked as an accountant but I have wealthy people in my family so I do their taxes for them for free. Donating to charity doesn't mean much to them. I make them do it for tax purposes and because I believe it is the right thing to do.

Anyway, it's not always for being charitable. I had a family member donate a lot of money to the African American Museum when it opened. Guess what? She doesn't like black people. I do though so I sent a $150K charitable donation there that year from her investment account. She never should have given me power of attorney. She was pissed about that. Fuck it, I work for free for them because I don't need their money. I'll send it where I want to. I simply told her to go spend a shit ton of money paying someone to do what I do for free and that was the last I heard from her about it.

My point is that when you have a certain level of wealth, it means jack shit about how much you donate to charities. Most rich people who are actually philanthropic, you don't even know about it and they don't flaunt it because they don't want anyone to know about their actual wealth. They keep it to themselves if they are genuine.

you misunderstand, as usual.. I'm talking about Red State budgets, not people living there, that are fucked. ALL States will be requesting bailout money, that is non-controversial to anyone with sense.

kalifornia nad NY are both running huge deficits - and rather than control spending on their illegals - are planning on trillions from the federal treasury to bail out their own financial misdeeds.

I am against any satate payouts - it comes from our taxes and I have no interst in bailing out kalifornia nd NY - the hell with those socialist bastards.

I read things in this forum and many times I wonder whether most even know the definition of a socialist or a communist state.

I've lived many years in both Cali and NY. They are neither just like no other state is in America. Both states just have idiot state officials who have no idea about how to stick to a budget and they overspend their resources because they refuse to stick to their budget, forecast and plan despite the fact that they tax the fuck out of the people who live there. You misunderstood reality as usual. It’s a fact that people over 65 are at more risk than any other age group. Especially with co-morbitities. That’s a fact. Art Howe is 73 and in an ICU. That supports my argument. I would certainly tell him that to his face. I’m sure his doctors did too. Post a link that lists ALL of the states that are requesting a bailout. Run along Chungster.

Yes, and ideally, they should protect themselves as well - and not go to large gatherings of young people.
