yeah it was impossible for you to have been serious abt Obama and integrity
trump's fav is the art of the deal
the Bible is gaining though
Obama's fav is that book bill ayers wrote for him
obama only likes the Koran or similar missives when or if liking them will gain him something - he's not clinging to it

Sorry to hear your grandkids didn't buy the bullshit you tried to feed them about Trump and lying. These kids are a lot smarter than you think Lama

Beyond that, throw your support to whomever you feel is the better choice in what is usually a two person race with vastly differing ideologies.
A thread like this meant to gin up outrage is always a hoot as to this day, I don't regret voting for Trump and supporting him over anything the left would consider putting out these days.
Call it lesser of two evils, but that consistently is one reason Trump retains the support he does.

I was agreeing with you 100% until you said you support him over anything.

I have to agree with EL - support Trump over anything the Left would consider putting out these days.
I am about to the point to advocate Trump as a one termer
Pence for 2020 nomination.
Versus - Beto/AOC - a couple of confirmed Marxists. The best the DPST has to offer.

I can't really think of anything the Democrats are proposing that I like but that doesn't mean I should blindly agree with whatever President Trump says without question. Because you disagree with what your teenager says doesn't that mean you should now agree with everything your wife says.

doesn't mean you disagree to disagree either.

Let me clarify my meaning of Trump over anything the left would put out.
I meant in terms of a candidate for POTUS, not in terms of all policy/legislation/etc.

I agree. I would vote for Nicky Haley, John Kasich or even Jeb Bush over anything on the left. After this Trump fiasco those choices don't seem so bad these days. Defending Trump is like defending OJ

Yes and no. I still like what Trump is accomplishing, but I do agree he needs a filter and another candidate could possibly have had better success in overall getting an agenda accomplished.
But the state of politics after Obama was such that an outsider such as Trump was kind of needed for at least one term to shake up the system. I don't know if any candidate that beat out the left would have been able to actually do anything, and I certainly didn't want another lefty as POTUS after 2016.
The two party system in the end screws all of us in restrictive choices that will really matter.
