We're in the worst recession since the thirties. We've got a socialist for president, and you're asking what significance this has on the economy. America is a capitalist system, having a socialist in charge, is obviously a problem. Anyone with an IQ bigger than their hat size can see that.

Romney should start slammming Obama fir membership in the socialist New Party. It fits with Romney's claim that Obama wants to turn us into a European style socialist state.

Be very careful CJ7, your pals claimed we were in a recession back in 1992 during the election and attacked Bush with it. Problem is that the recession had technically ended in October of that year. So you can't have it both ways. If you look at the economy we are in a recession in all but the very narrow technical defintion. (two consectutive quarters of negative GDP growth) However, there are divided opinions on what is a recession.
