We've done this before, with very mixed results. There is a tendency for things to get out of hand. Not everyone's sense of decorum is the same. A guy might decide to have a date before the M&G, and show up with the lady on his arm. Some of the ladies can get a little flirty, and with alcohol involved that can get really obvious. Other patrons wonder why these beautiful women are hanging out with these geezers, and then there are the questions "Are you all some kind of group? Do you work together?"
We also had some really good meetups. You know what made them successful? One person (a provider, or a guy working very closely with a provider) personally invited 5-6 ladies and 10-15 guys who they knew well. Of those guys invited, maybe half would show up (the ladies were more reliable usually, because it was part of their business). So we had a small group of professional, respectable people sitting around at a couple of tables chatting. That sounds like what you want, HankPanky. You just have to make it happen in a more organized way. It is a lot of work screening people (ask the ladies here). You can't just post "Party at the Sheraton!"; bad things happen when you do that. Very Bad Things.

Hanky didn't mean to rain on your parade....you have apparently been in the hobby for a while. We have had numerous announcements here on this board (ie:motorcyle rides, M&G's...etc etc) with no thought put into the obvious.....(discretion and safety)
This subculture as Scorpio calls it isn't something to flaunt in the eyes of LE or the public for that fact.
I would love to attend a M&G and meet some more of these knuckleheads on the board....as well as some of the beautiful KC women.
Questor is correct I believe in keeping it low key (
like keeping Wizard from taking off his toupee...lol)....smallish and with peeps that have been screened and established......
