*sigh* I guess someone was bound to bring the light-hearted banter down at some point. Either way, I really enjoyed this thread, CanDo01. Post more! We need more fun around here!

There's nothing light-hearted about Kim...at all. Nor is there anything light-hearted about Hitler, or Charles Manson, or Bin Laden or any other historically known pieces of scum. There's nothing cool about having characters like these as an avatar, and if anyone entertained the thought they should be shot down immediately. I'm surprised he was allowed to go THIS long with that avatar, but that's just me.

His first 'ponderance' was about his avatar. What does that tell you?

Whereas I agree with your analysis (you left out Lennin, Stalin, Fidel, Che Guerra, etc. ) I think you missed how the "Great Leader" was generaly criticized and mocked as an avitar.

So, instead of dumping, join the fun and mock him.

Rambro Creed, I couldn't have said it any better. I spent 15 months over in Korea in support of the DMZ.

Want me to mock him? Give me a dartboard with his picture on it. Or some toilet paper sporting his image. Something along those lines.

LOL! I got the lint if you have the needles. Sounds like another "hobby" to me.

Yeah, we always associate a psychopathic leader of a terrorist empire with things that are humorous.

Look, I'm probably one of the more serious folks around here so I "get" where you're coming from. Completely. But sometimes, you just gotta laugh.

Or shrug. And let things go ...

Oh wow. I just learned a new term today. OMGWKATFBHEBBO. I'll NEVER be able to remember it, but it was fun to look up the meaning!

Damn. I wish that I was feeling humorous today instead of just blah. I need a little something to make me laugh. Maybe some more dictator musings?

Fair enough and I respect that. But let me ask ya something:

I'm getting a tatoo sometime this week. It's going to be a custom piece and something I've wanted to get for a while. It really means a lot to me, but I'm fairly sure some people will take offense to it. Here's the description (keep in mind that I'm Russian and was born in the former Soviet Union):

Upper right arm: a Soviet red star with a hammer and sickle going through it. The hammer and sickle will have blood dripping to symbolize the family I've lost under Soviet totalitarian rule (gulag and other various kinds of oppression) and the fact I grew up without grandparents, because they were killed by the Nazis during the Great/Patriotic War (WWII). I'm also thinking of getting the word Freedom (Svoboda) in Cyrillic next to it.

So, would you say that is offensive to you?
