Now, this I'll agree with to some extent....and the problems are fixable. Starting by fixing what is wrong with health care in this country. But, fixing the problems isn't what the repukes have in mind. They want to eliminate the programs and offer no viable alternatives. Nor do they offer any viable solutions to the current problems. All they want to do is burn the barn down.

I whole heartedly agree. When we have a health care system that is a fee for service based system what we really have is a "sick care system". Hospitals and doctors have more incentive to rack up unnecessary tests and procedures that ultimately cause prices to keep rising. They have no incentive to give preventative care or educate patients on what to do to improve their health and manage it.

eye see. elderly informed? don't think so. at least not in this case with Banichek. He's wrong on the life expectancy, that's the only thing they got him on.

the elderly referenced in the OP's post are very much uninformed (they think they know but they don't considering they prolly read/watch mainstream news)
