What was continued to allow happen IS disgusting. I thought it was bad before but after reading more about it ... oh yeah. Firing him was deserved.

I am interpreting this to mean that this case was reported all the way to the district attorney back when it occurred. You cannot go any higher than the district attorney which means everyone else did what they were supposed to do according to the law.

There are a whole bunch of powerful politicaly connected people at the district attorney's level that may have had their own reasons to keep this covered up until now.... no different than what is going on with the catholic church abuses.

The end result.. the district attorney goes missing since 2005.

Just something to think about.

Today he retained a prominent Washington, DC criminal defense attorney.
