I readily admit I couldn't do it. I've had some very good friendships develop in this hobby over the years but that's as far as I can go. It takes one HELL of a large dose of confidence to be OK with your SO having sex with other men. My metaphorical dick's just not that big.

Three S/O two are working girls.
Well, I guess I am just a ********* optimist but it has worked well for me. I have a S/O at home and for the last 9 years at least one working girl here from our community.
TSTB is still in Corpus Christi with the cutest nine month old daughter that any can immagine and working on a degree at DelMar. Deans List, Summa (Fucking)Cum(proper spelling for those of you without college degrees)Laude and I am so proud I gave her my AX pin so her classmates would know just how great she is. (The old timers here know who I am talking about. Her handle refers to the color of her eyes or a liquor.
Third love of my life just retired of her own choice, not mine she was just tired of the life. She is now waiting tables which doesn't provide near the income that providing did but I will support her decision. She stopped providing but claims that she will keep wearing the peace symbol even if I am the only person that know what it means. She picked up her first paycheck yesterday and it was twice as much as she was expecting so she took me to dinner. Grin.

OK so I am the most overconfident SOB that walks. Its a business. Just like any other business. When you are doing your job properly you are thinking about what you are doing. If you are proforming a sex act you are probably thinking about the other persons sex parts and where they are and what they are doing, it's just the job. After they leave you think about your S/O. No problem.
One night about 8 years ago my S/O and I had dinner with Teresa B at the Marriott. TB made the definitive comment about providing and having affairs. She said she never minded her ex having sex with a working girl, that was just friendly exercise. "If he had continued only doing the girls who worked for me, we would still be married. My S/O has often been questioned by her girl friends about my taking photographs of beautiful nekked girls. She replys that as long as I have a camera in my hands it's work.

We have a former ASPD Moderator who married his ATF, Miss F*** R*** and last I heard they were living in little rock and doing very well.

True the Eccie is not a dating service but you find love where it finds you. There is no reason SKF that it cannot happed here as easily as any where else but it truly takes a steady mind and a great degree of confidence to make it work well.

I'm probably just summarizing here but I would believe that most gentlemen and ladies who have participated in this hobby over 10 to 15 years would tell you that they've not seen a relationship like this work in the long term. That doesn't suggest impossibility; it simply suggests improbability.

Logically, one would have to hold out hope that it is a possibility. Here's why: this board is full of open, honest adults who are sharing feelings and desires about a common interest. That is a breeding ground for relationships. Personally, I've met some sincerely decent people running in these circles.

What others are suggesting is that this environment logically is also a petri dish for every type of neurosis and psychosis and narcissistic perversion known to mankind. That is a threat to good relationships.

I don't know the answer to the OP's question but I do know this: I've met a few ladies in the profession who would make extraordinary partners in life--smart, assertive, compassionate, strategic-thinking beautiful women. But I've never gone there.

I think this is a great post and there are some good thoughts here.
