Yes sir, it is degrading. Escort does not equal lowlife scumbag, with addiction issues. My portfolio is probably in better shape than yours, my modest home is paid for, my 2012 vehicle is paid for. I think you're feeling attacked, and that's why you're getting so defensive. I'm not here to attack you. I'm here to tell you that I understand that you are trying to protect yourself. That's good. However, you are going about it in the wrong way. I would never, ever let a guy finger me to prove I'm not a cop. Your finger nails are likely very nasty (even if you wash your hands) and can cut, since most guys just chew their nails off, or even if they cut them, they don't smooth out the edges. I'm not going to risk an infection just to satisfy your paranoia.

If you are concerned about her being LE, maybe just wait and see if reviews start popping up. Or invite ladies from the nearest large city to come visit you for some extra consideration. Or get a couple of buddies together with similar tastes and invite ladies to travel in for multiple appointments with you guys. There's no reason to make this all uncomfortable for you both. By the time you both meet, you should both be relaxed and comfortable that you are safe and about to have a great time together. I'm sure there are guys in small towns that could give you pointers on what they do to feel things out, without putting the lady on the spot in such a blatant and uncomfortable way. It's not sexy, and will likely kill her libido. Why would you want to do that?

Just my thoughts. If you feel that what you are doing is working for you, then by all means continue. I just think there are better ways.

Well, I must apologize for that one. I got the 50-mile number from looking at a map and mentally "stepping off" the scale-of-miles line. But, as we can all see here, Eau Claire to St. Paul, center-to-center, is 86 miles. And if you go across the river to the center of Minneapolis, you're probably pushing that 100-mile figure. So, you were right (or at least closer to being right), and I was wrong. You're brilliant, and I'm rubbish.

And you know what that means. Since you said I'd be "summarily arrested" for doing what I've done numerous times already, I'm sure you're right about that, too. The FBI and the Indiana State Police SWAT team are probably in the final stages of planning their 3 am dynamic-entry raid on my poor little shack on the Salamonie River. Always knew, or should have known, that I'd go to the Big House forever for my failure to check the oil.

To make up for my uncharitable remarks to you, allow me to suggest a new board handle, should you ever need or want one. You could be "Jiffy Lube." Ding, ding!

On a serious note, amazinggg….where does one have an idea of "checking the oil" first?? Sheessshhhh…this is probably one of the dumbest thing I've ever heard this year….yet funny! I am too overwhelmed to explain my thoughts to the OP now. The two ladies above already summarized it with elegance. I can't believe OP didn't understand how this can feel degrading/offensive to the ladies is beyond me.

So the OP opened with the subject "ever been busted by LE". That question was never really addressed in the 3 pages of posts that followed. Sure we all see the news stories in our areas where there are arrests and stings, but seems like no one on these threads have ever been a part of it. I am sure the PoPo have much bigger crimes to investigate than to spend every day setting up stings for what usually amounts to a misdemeanor and an appearance ticket with a fine attached. As for the comment regarding the FBI? I don't think the FBI would get involved in a sting unless it involved underage girls, human trafficking, or is associated with some other crimes like drugs or organized crimes. Overall your chances of getting busted for this hobby is low compared to other activities. Doing your homework is certainly helpful when there are reviews available, but some of us more adventurous like to TOFT with the Backpage girls and throw the dice, and most of the BP girls have no reviews. There is a certain excitement to it and it is not for everyone. I have been doing it long enough to where I can usually go with my gut feeling and tell if it's a set-up, whether it be LE or Cash and dash. Being street smart is useful in my case and I like to pass the info along to my "not so adventurous" fellow hobbyists who have more to lose than I do ( I am single so no worries about the old lady finding out). Anyway, That's my two cents.

That was the OP's question and several folks addressed it on the first page.

Chances of getting busted are slim but the penalty can be high, more from exposure than fines.

Street smarts do help, especially unannounced.

Lots of BP girls get reviewed.

Samantha, I suspect he does understand, but just doesn't care that it is degrading. Reading his posts as a whole he comes across as totally self absorbed and "me first, it's all about me".

This is not something I currently do, but when I did it was taught to me by the ladies. Not checking the oil or fingering, she'd grab the junk and I'd grab a breast. But it was the ladies' initiative. Obviously not high class but the whole world can't live in one neighborhood.

I offered SOUND and HONEST advice to the OP in regards to how not to be busted rather than behave in an unbecoming way, after i asserted who a I am.
