They say Irish people know how to party during a wake, but you haven't seen Asian people party after a funeral then. We ended up going to a bar and half my relatives were passing out all over the place. And at midnight they were still going!! I considered it a festive funeral just because the person who passed, my stepgrandmother, was quite a cantankerous woman, and when she was dying, she screamed out to death, " You asshole!! You didn't get me all these years, and now I guess I have to meet you but you're still an asshole!!"

Now, that's a great line!!! The story should be passed down to succeeding generations.

My closest civvie friends know, and my daughter knows. But many civvie people I know have no clue, and would never believe it if someone told them. It's the way you carry yourself in and out of this hobby. I don't buy flashy things, throw money around stupidly. Smart ladies put the money up, and are never to flashy.
In fact a close civvie friend called had a friend who was single and he told her he was thinking of finding a escort and so after them talking about it, she said I have a friend that can help you find a safe medium. Well I was able to help him out contacted a special lady in Houston.
I have had a few guys refer others to me, from there work or friends

Yeah see that's great you have an open relationship with your family. Thankfully my family isn't all that religious ( although my great grand father from Japan was a Baptist minister and I obviously fell far from the tree) but it's not my parents I worry about. It would be my in-laws and other relatives who just wouldn't get it. And then civvie friends who pretend that they think what you do might be okay but they really have issues with it down deep inside.

I don't even tell my evil second personality about my hobbying activities. The only people who know are the providers I've seen and those with whom I've communicated here on ECCIE and elsewhere (either on phone, e-mail or on the boards). There is nobody I'd ever confide in-- not even a priest. It is my little secret and I plan to keep it that way.

No not really. In my line of work it seems acceptable to bang providers. Dudes talk about it all the time. It just that they don't do any research and I don't offer any. they seem to think eros is a great place. I knew a dude that had a heart attack on a friday then a provider posted a thread she had a dude have a heart attack on her on that same friday. I always wondered if it was him. Everything seemed to match up. Both happened at lunch time. I try to keep my business my business.

Enlightening comments in this thread.
For one, I could never live with my parents and be a provider smh. THAT I could not live with. I feel as though I am already doing something they wouldn't want me to do in the first place so to do it and be living in their house, would be direspectful imo. Besides,
As a provider, I make enough money to have my own space (two properties to be exact).
Second, as I said, I live by myself, pay my taxes, own my own cars, don't owe anyone shit (debt free) and my parents are nowhere near. I do not feel the need to explain myself to anyone that isn't my SO (since I would putting his life at risk by not telling him). In my civie life, I am very conservative. I mind my own business (even though my neighbors doesn't mind theirs) and my girlfriends that know I provide live in other states (they're providers too). I am not an american. American are very lenient when it comes to these things. I could never tell anyone in my personal life that I was a provider. I know a lot of ladies are proud to tell their families but I come from a very proud family and that is a no go.
I do not want to be known among-st my family/rw peers as a prostitute. We are discreet here for a reason. The two worlds should never collide. I now run another business that makes this easier to hide. If this were something I plan on doing for the rest of my life then of course I would tell them. This (providing) to me is a crutch to bigger and better things. It should never be a lifestyle but a JOB!
Great thread, Ava!
