I don't like Rush. He's an entertainer and he can entertain his audience, I don't find him entertaining. Just not my kind of humor. He can move to the north pole, I won't miss him.

Fair enough. He's not everyone's cup of tea. I just think it's odd that so many people really hate him and really don't get the fact that most of what they find annoying is actually an act. It's like an actor who always plays villains, in the movies, and has to deal with people in real life who actually think he is the character he plays.

I've never listened to his show but I've seen clips other places. I guess that says something. I did see him on "The Hank Haney Project" though. Just that makes me question how much of that "arrogant windbag" stuff is an act though.

Obviously, I don't know the guy in real life, maybe it's not an act. Who knows, maybe Don Rickles goes through life insulting everyone he meets. My guess he doesn't.

"Rush is a national treasure?" That's rich! A Rush Memorial on the national mall, only "bigger and nicer" than the Lincoln Memorial? That's even richer!
I can just see America erecting a national memorial to a loud-mouthed blow-hard, who wakes up hating America and goes to sleep hating America! And hates America all points in between!

I can't speak for anyone other than myself. But Rush rarely, if ever, pisses me off. Why? Because I don't listen to him.
I have better things to do with my time!

Gee Whirly, I can't imagine why I was led to believe that joe bloe was advocating a "Rush Memorial on the national mall, similar to the Lincoln Memorial except way bigger and nicer."
Other than the fact that jb actually wrote those exact words in a previous post! Perhaps you should have read his referenced remarks prior to making an ass out of yourself!

You're most welcome!
The thought occurred to me that perhaps you meant to say:
Dumb Joe Bloe's thought process = national treasure means monument on The Mall.
If that in fact was your meaning, you and I can finally agree!

Con Game
You could probably repackage garbage with a pretty bow and peddle it to the unsuspecting.
In fact, that is exactly what Wall Street was doing when they were selling toxic assets after the housing collapse.
Do you remember how that particular con went down?
If you think the arrogant windbag is merely an act then you're just the type of idiot that keeps his garbage on the air.
It's not an act, the walrus is an arrogant windbag, but while he may indeed enjoy rattling people's cages, that ploy only works on the poor fools who have not caught on to his con game.
He brings absolutely no value to any country, but the parasite won't leave!
. . . He merely peddles hatred and stirs up shit.

Once he is made aware that I am willing to pay for his one way flight to Damascus, Rush Slimebaugh will be "on his way" to the bank to pick up some pocket cash and then on to the airport!
Does anybody know how to say Adios MoFo in Syrian?

I can say the same for Bill Maher. Good riddance.

No Validation
That may be so, but that is no validation.
I believe it was a flamboyant piano player who started that line, but at least that little faggot could play the piano very well.
. . . By contrast, Rush brings no value whatsoever to the country.

he's not obese, he's lost a lot of weight since then.
