I prefer the term Close Personal Friend.
I am fortunate to have a couple of them. We see each other when it works for both of us, no obligations, no drama...and they help me out. It might be something last minute, or I will have "needs" when I see them...but it is generally for a reason, such as rent, a project I am working on, back taxes, some specific reason rather than just a general forking over of cash.

The biggest thing for me is that we are true friends who support each other, that I can count on them, and that it's right up front, no games.
I give them my time when they need or want to see me.

The kick starter is hookers and strippers make the worse SB's available. Period. If you look in those two groups you are setting it up for an epic failure. Proven fact. Add to it they have no fucking clue what a good SB is.. See my point?

No question but that you aren't a SB by any stretch of the imagination. That's not meant as an insult, just a simple matter of what a SB is and what a Companion is.

I had a sb that i went looking for and found on eccie. I had to learn that if I had an escort for a sb that meant I had to share her. She explained that to me and It took a while to get it. She dropped off of eccie, kept a few regular customers and her husband, and me. I wanted more. What I didn't get until.it blew up was that She wanted to keep her life And have a boyfriend . She chose me and I screwed it up. The lesson: there are regular girlfriends , paid for girlfriends , and eccie girlfriends . Just know what you want in advance and then be happy with it. one is not better than the other, just each is different . If I got an eccie girlfriend again, and I am open to that, I would now know she makes the rules and Idon't get to make demands, only polite requests. Personally , I think my experience is that its better to have a so and then find an eccie girl and be a regular with her and a casual friend with her too and keep the deeper emotions centered on the so.

I agree. that's what an eccie girlfriend is. a.hooker on retainer that's also.more.or.less.a.girlfriend is.too. Not a true sb/sd relationship..the girls.just plainly.have a different mindset..for me having a so and eccie girl on retainer.with a friendship aspect to it works.better than having an.so.and a.sb. too much emotional energy.

Never could figure out the sugar daddy thing I never really can find anyone that would spoil me without so many demands.. I know I found that sugardaddy.com is semi good to use. Some B.S. on there and some time waster.. It might help, good luck hope you find what your looking for!!

I do both and I am happy with my current Sugar Daddy and the one before him whom is still mine to this day... well after all, that is how I got into this biz and I am very glad I did. I guess it makes it a lot easier for me to adapt to either or since I started from the bottom... Takes an open minded girl.

Not trying to knock what you're saying, but.
More like a certified provider, that have some guys thinking you're a sugar baby, you may have started as a SB but you took the leap into being provider, there isn't a both it's a either/or, if you feel good saying your both, whatever works for you if it keeps the cash and gifts flowing.

Guys who want a true SB won't see a provider, some guys don't know the difference, so they buy into the notion that they have a SB, but they really have is a "Hooker on retainer",

A true SD has access, whenever it suits him, that's whats he paying for, if he wants to be on a schedule he will just use the services of a provider.

Some guys think they are SD, really they are boyfriends, they just don't realize it until they try to end the arrangement because of the feeling the ladies has, she doesn't think of herself as a SB, so if you call yourself a SD and you think your SB doesn't even realize she is a SB cause you got it like that, you're not a SD you're a BF
A SB knows she is a SB and she won't have the emotional attachment when it's time to say bye bye. she's miss the gifts, money and travel, you, not so much. at least not until the next SD arrangement.
