Study other websites and study the ideas of others. I didn't say completely copy or plagiarize. But use the ideas of others for inspiration.

Eat a strawberry while taking a picture of your lips. Take a drink of water and let the water dribble down your chin. Take a picture of your hand holding your breast. Jeez. It doesn't have to be all bedroomie stuff filled with lingerie.

Body parts are really nice. Look around and see what other women are doing but aim high. Always try to get something better "the next time".

Jeez. I'm on a roll. Just trying to help, though. With pictures, generally less graphic stuff goes over better.

Wow. Thats good advice. I love men and women too. lol. I love sex alot. I was once told that I was a sex addict when my ex and I went to marriage counseling. lol. I'm curious as to why you would not suggest this. I've often thought that the client might be the best person to take such photos since he is, afterall, the client and knows what he, and presumably, other men are looking for in terms of pictures.

Obviously, don't let him keep the negatives.....

your marketing message should be consistent & you can't just declare yourself a "VIP/Upscale Companion" while at the same time on a public board asking for help. most guys have a pretty good BS detector

the "new to the biz but not new to pleasing men" type line works with a lot of guys and allows you to be yourself...it also makes sense of the lower rate...guys think,"cool, I'm getting a bargain on this great gal cause she's kinda new...cool"

I have to agree with Elisabeth overall.. most guys who offer to take pictures for free are really not that great of Photographers. A professional knows what to look for and the abilities of his camera. Most amateurs don't.

However, I do let some guys take my picture and I have used some of them. If I let a guy take pictures, then it has to be with a digital camera and we review the pictures together and he deletes the ones I don't approve of.

Here are two pictures... if you first guess they are professional... then you are wrong... I was lucky enough to find a guy who really did have a pro eye!!

I wasn't complaning and you didn't say anything that I didn't already know-not that I didn't enjoy reading your thoughts on the matter. I just meant that if I were the OP, I'd be a bit confused having some people tell me that I'm considered "high-volume" due to my rates-no matter how many clients I actually see or don't see. But at the same time am being told to raise my rates-but not "too high" or I'll outmarket myself to the point that no one will be able (on average) to afford me-or at least want to "try" me out at those rates. Ultimately, only she is going to find the rate that makes her comfortable. Granted, it may not be the rate that people are willing to pay but....

It is highly inappropriate to ask us. You need to come to terms with your rate and stick to it. If you decide to, offer specials once in a while. Some offer holiday specials; some bday specials; and some to active military. But in the end, it is your call.

I'll add a different perspective here, Valerie, so as not to disagree with the others. They have given some solid advice. However, I like the Black and White photos. Tastefully done, and yours are, they always add a different flavor to a website, one that I personally like.

If you really are the rookie you suggest, then you've done an outstanding job organizing and presenting your material on the site. Make a little change or two every day as you desire and before long you'll find you have exactly what you want.
