My step-daughter was killed in an auto accident years ago, and I saw the terrible anguish my ex went through. My 57 year old uncle died, and my Grandmother was inflicted with equal anguish. No parent should ever have to endure the loss of a child. Sooner or later, we all lose the ones we love, but an innocent life lost is truly impossible to understand. I don't know you, but looking at all these comments, there are many who care, and I hope you find some peace in their prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss, and while nothing I can say will ease or even put you at peace, I too know what it is like to lose a child.

I wish I could tell you that this too shall pass, but I can't.
I still think about him everyday and wish I could see him, hold him, protect him.
The pain will never go away and you will find yourself breaking down and crying whenever you think about him, but it will get easier to manage.

You will smile again one day and be able to remember the good times.

My heart really goes out to you and I will pray everyday for you.
