DDOS attacks are usually made to cover up a larger threat, such as stealing data, for example. I'm pretty sure if someone DDOS'd OH2 then they probably would have the ability to scrape it ("scrape" is to scan all the pages and steal data)
Let's face it, most of these forums have User interfaces similar to early 00s, its not a far stretch to believe their security measures are just as antiquated.


Hope none of you actually GAVE someone on OH2 your personal data, because it is anyone's guess where it is now.

Mmmmmm....I'm willing to bet every site has been hacked at some point and that LE is elbow deep in all of them as well. I enjoyed OH2 with it's run, but towards this end it started getting rather....sparse(?) as far as new talent as well as the threads.

The multitude of other sites out there and using their call list of regulars, probably. What sites? I dunno, I typically stick/stuck with OH2 and Eccie simply because they have discussion forums that I relied upon to help me make decisions on who I was going to see.

I personally liked OH2 because of the pics and videos. Most people in my area use this site. Both work for me but I really liked some of the photos on that site.

I just love these anti-oh2 threads, as they give me a good laugh. It's funny watching the guys who've been banned over there just itching to type something/anything negative about that site. It's like they can't help themselves to take another pot shot at the site or site admin.

It is what it is. As for myself, I manned up, and just take it and move on. No biggie. I also just lost a dear friend due to covid, now that was something to get upset about, not being banned from some sites.

The site was originally created for a very few select people, and was around even before ECCIE was a thing. When ECCIE went down a few years back, ck was gracious enough to open it up to the same population of users. However, the model of handling things didn't change enough, IMHO, to handle the new user-base size and visibility, even before this attack (verified status process, etc.)...and if you don't think the same people who launched that DDoS attack on his site don't have their eyes on ECCIE as well...I'd rethink that, as well.
