Duh.
But what it means is that the TP movement is having a predictable result of offending those in power !
It doesn't mean the end of the TP or TP principles.
No news dimwit.

DeMint even more so. Do you deny that DeMint has been one of the highest profile elected Baggers? And do you contend that him abruptly leaving the senate is just business as usual? And the loss of the committee positions by tea partiers elected in 2010 is meaningless?

Now, the GOP are the "Statists"? Are they socialists too? And communists?
It's amusing how, rather than learning from the ass-kicking the conservatives took last month, they think becoming even more extreme and insane is the answer the American electorate is looking for.....
I'm missing all the cooperation Boehner and McConnell are engaged in with the Democrats. Tell us all about it. You mean they are speaking with the President and the democrats about trying to do something about the country's problems? Those dirty traitors.....

Conservatives didn't get an ass kicking last month. What facts do you have to support that stupid claim ?

Do you really think a new party, more conservative than the Republican party, can win over the majority of Americans? I wish that were true.
Implementing conservative policies and downsizing the federal government as required by the Constitution, is absolutely what's necessary to save the country from disaster. I don't think the majority of Americans will allow that to happen.
The country has degenerated into mob rule. Things are going to get much worse before they get any better, and that's not going to happen any time soon.

Why on earth would you be interested in any facts? You spend your time engaged in your fantasy world where all is well in the GOP, the Tea Party and the conservative "movement." You're on fucking Pluto.
1. Obama won the Presidency in the worst economy in a 100 years and won it handily.
2. Tommy Thompson, Heather Wilson, Connie Mack, Pete Hoekstra, Linda McMahon, Todd Akin, and Richard Mourdock? Those names ring a bell? Races that the GOP had well in hand until melting down like a birthday cake candle?
3.Any particular reason you think that sane republicans are now talking about agreeing to tax cuts on the wealthy? Was that because of the strength of the republican result last month?
I could go on for pages. But, the reality is you're just too stupid to get it.

"I'm leaving the Senate now, but I'm not leaving the fight. I've decided to join The Heritage Foundation at a time when the conservative movement needs strong leadership in the battle of ideas," DeMint said in a statement. "No organization is better equipped to lead this fight and I believe my experience in public office as well as in the private sector as a business owner will help Heritage become even more effective in the years to come."

I'm a whore.

TP has no principles. or ganas. If their leadership had any, they'd start their own, independent party and leave the poor, defenseless Republicans alone. I strongly believe we should have multiple parties in this country. The Libs and Greens should receive same recognition as the Ds and Rs. Tea Party right now is a splinter faction of the GOP that is leading it to a disastrous demise...and taking the whole fucking country with it.
Where's the Moral Majority when you need it?
Oh, and good riddance Senator DeMint. we'll see you at the next cross burning!

It is no surprise that the Dimwit left can't understand, much less appreciate, a politician who serves for a short time in the Senate then moves on. You prefer the party loyalists who are lifers, clinging on to power till death.......

Perfect example of your cluelessness. DeMint is moving on because he's being marginalized by the GOP power structure who have finally come to the realization that he's a liability to them in future elections.
If it was just a matter of him "moving on", why is he leaving a month after his party got drubbed and he has 4 more years left in his term? Did he not know he was a politician who just wanted to serve for "a short time" and then "move on" when he ran for relection two years ago? Did he not know that when he said just a short time ago that he would be serving out his term until 2016? If it was just money, and god knows he needs it if his financial disclosure forms are truthful, why wouldn't he wait until he completed his term?
Your credibility on just about anything is pretty suspect because you come across as such a dumbass in your posts. But, when you post up shit like this, denying the obvious, you really reinforce the viewpoint that you're nothing more than a talking-point hack.

The GOP didn't get drubbed; I don't know if you noticed but the dynamics of the party political alignment is the same as before the election.
A drubbing is what happened in 2010 when there was a sea change in government at the local, state and federal level.
And of course DeMint is moving on.....serious minded Conservatives know the real game change will not be played out in Washington over the next four years.
DeMint can better serve Conservative agenda by being outside the GOP at this point.
You act like it is some death nail in the Conservative coffin. You are fucking looney thinking so.

Fucking idiot. So, "serious minded conservatives" can better serve the conservative agenda by giving up their vote in the United States senate by heading out to some mindless conservative think-tank in return for big money? I guess that says all we need to know about the power "serious minded conservatives" have in government. Sad day for you Pinhead.
