Actually that was in reference to an ignorant comment made by DOTUS.

Perhaps you missed that one.

Our military has failed us bb. Now you have the Commander in Chief cowering to Russians, North Korea and Saudi Arabia. You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting such an Un American stance. Sad that you dont care about America

If the situation warrants it now, the legislature will need to address it. The numbers may be bad, but they've been worse.

The president, NO MATTER WHAT PARTY cannot circumvent Congress.

Congress said no.

Just a month ago Trump himself said he didn't need to do it.

Emergencies by definition need to be dealt with. If you don't need to deal with it, it's not really an emergency.

I'm not opposed to a wall. I think it's dumb and there are more cost effective ways to be just as secure.

However, I am opposed to Executive overreach.

Default Schizophrenic Liberals at the New York Times

Yep, yep, yep... even the New York Fucking Times!

Here is yesterday's lead story on the front page:

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/05/u...-increase.html

Problem is, the very same issue contained an editorial saying there is no border crisis lol!

Don't those fucking NYT editors read what their own reporters are writing?

This was too much even for their readers!!

From today's "Letters to the Editor":

At the Border: Crisis or No Crisis?

A reader finds a contradiction between what an editorial and a front-page story say about whether there is an immigration crisis.

March 6, 2019

To the Editor:

In Wednesday’s Times I find a contradiction. Your lead editorial, “Fix the National Emergencies Law,” comments, “For one thing, the National Emergencies Act doesn’t define what an emergency is — a loophole that Mr. Trump took advantage of by declaring that there’s a crisis at the border, contrary to all evidence.”

The lead story on the front page carries the headline “Record Numbers Crossing to U.S., Deluging Agents.” The reporter quotes the nation’s top border enforcement officer, Kevin K. McAleenan, saying that “the system is well beyond capacity.” He also is quoted as saying, “This is clearly both a border security and a humanitarian crisis.”

So which is it? No evidence of a crisis, or a real crisis?

Trump has failed in protecting the United States. We never had this problem under Obama. Sad that Trump couldn't keep his promise of Mexico paying for the wall

It took you all of 4 minutes to reply, so obviously you didn't read the link.

Can't have an intelligent discussion with someone like you.

Oh dear! Looks like mystic is as schizophrenic as the NYT!!

If the crisis is "bullshit" - then how can Trump be accused of failing to fix it?

Make up your mind, mystic.

So why we are a bunch of opinionated assholes. None of us have the degree of national security expertise that General Kelly has.

He says it's a waste of money and he also contradicts Trump's claim about the criminals coming from Mexico.

Believe a 6 time bankruptcy filer, reality tv show personality or a 4 Star Marine General. You choose.

Trump is an absolute idiot. Kelly is a war hardened general.
