I agree. An album like Days of Future Passed told a story without one 'throw away' song as a filler.

Dylan Blood on the Tracks. All time greatest. Says more about men/women relationships than everything on this board.

Pink Floyd ..many choices but I will go for Wish You Were Here

Mahler Symphony no 9, a slow movement to die for in daty

Hendrix experience

Rolling Stones Let it Bleed

Bruckner 8th, slow movement for daty, last movement for fucking

Scriabin 8th sonata for freeky daty, a tongue workout

If you don;t believe me, try

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDXwo4X07mg

at 1:28 and onwards. Hard work. Somebody has to do it. It's like 3 guys all working the clit.

No particular order:
1.) Judas Priest - Painkiller
2.) Skid Row - Quicksand Jesus (Sebastian Bach's voice is the best)
3.) The Cranberries - Zombie
4.) Killswitch Engage - Fixation On The Darkness
5.) Motorhead - Born To Raise Hell

I have hundreds, I'm a real music nut, but if I was on a desert island with only 3, they would probably be:

Willie Nelson, Red Headed Stranger
B.B. King, Live at the Apollo
Eagles Greatest Hits

I could see hanging out with a lot of you. Same musical tastes. The classical aficionados mixed in with Beatles fans makes a lot of sense.

Just to mix things up a bit:
Everywhere - the Bangles. Yeah, those Bangles. Almost every song a rocker.
Requiem by Mozart.
Another Page - Christopher Cross
Every Time You Say Goodbye - Allison Krauss/Union Station
Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme - Simon and Garfunkel

Rocks--Aerosmith
First Four Ramones albums
Sticky Fingers/Exile On Main St--The Rolling Stones
Alive--Kiss
Kill 'Em All--Metalica
Metallic KO/TV Eye--The Stooges
The Clash--The Clash
Damaged--Black Flag
Golden Shower of Hits--The Circle Jerks
Nothing's Shocking--Jane's Addiction
The Fragile--NIN
All Mod Cons--The Jam
Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables/Plastic Surgery Disasters--Dead Kennedys
Never Mind The Bollocks--The Sex Pistols
Superfuzz Bigmuff--Mudhoney

I can do this all day.....I love making lists like this. When I was still buying vinyl I listened to most of the records I had over and over and some of them I'm still listening too. As much as I miss playing records on a daily basis I really do appreciate the random function of my ipod.
