Create the Reparations Commission, and have it issue 4 trillion dollars worth of bonds paying interest only of 1% per year for the next hundred years. Have the Federal Reserve purchase the bonds similar to the QE program. Stipulate the money received can only be spent in the US on real estate or made in America products, or deposited in American banks. Take the money saved by eliminating the EEOC and save it up in a fund over the next 100 years to payoff the bonds.

It's not really that bad of an idea, as long as it is considered income that they would have to pay taxes on. I think some of the results would be....

Not one of them would be able to get on welfare the following year.
Some would use the money to start a new business which is productive.
Some would pull their kids from inner city public school and into good private schools. Very productive.
Rev. AL and Jessie would be out of business.
Then when they get their tax bill on April 15th they would say ''what the fuck, now I understand why all those people are bitching''

But it will never happen because some of those people who start to pay their own way in life will stop voting for the Dems, and Dem's will not take the chance of loosing that voting block.

I always thought Oboma's stimulus in 2008 would have done more good if we would have mailed a check to every US citizen instead of giving it to the unions and banks.

How about we give every black man and women one "get out of jail free" card? Shoot a white guy? Rob a bank? Burn down your next door neighbor's house with the Romney 2012 sign? No Problem!

Better yet, let's make the card transferable! That way law abiding blacks can sell their card to the highest bidder.

Where's Li'l Stevie?

Actually, I would challenge XNYR to draw the lines that make up Palestine. Oh and you can't use the same lines the British used. You have to use the real lines.

I challenge you to read what I wrote before you post.

I said I would not give Palestinians any reparations.

I never said anything about giving them any land, whether it is in "Palestine" or you place in Kansas.

But if you insist, the lines of Palestine are the ones the British used. You don't get to declare anything off limits. Those lines are as real as any other set of lines. The Palestinians would prefer to have the whole of Israel. They won't get that.

But the lines prior to the 1967 War are a good starting point.

Alternatively, Israel can expel every Muslim from all lands held by Israel, declare itself the eternal owners of ALL that land, and then hunker down for another century of fighting. And learn to do without US assistance any more.

Where did I say about giving anyone any land? Have your glasses checked. You said that Palestine is a specific area in the middle east and that is not true. It is a poorly defined area and the closest thing anyone has are the lines arbitrarily drawn by the British over a century ago. I invited you to draw the real lines so we know EXACTLY what you are talking (and us) about. I can't do it but since you said it was a specific area then I figured you had the ultimate knowledge.

In truth, the invisible man in the clouds didn't promise anything to either of you.

And your knowledge of history is abhorrent. American Indians weren't kicked out. Unlike Palestinians, they are STILL HERE. You can go visit one of their many casinos. They are just vastly outnumbered by European conquerors.

Also, the two situations aren't remotely similar. No Indian tribe could claim ownership to North America any more than one ethnic group can claim to own the Asian land mass.

But that's not the case in Israel - or Northern Ireland, for that matter.

It is a small discrete piece of land and we know who was living in Palestine when Israel was founded. Many of the displaced people are still alive. Israel can easily compensate them.

Just to be clear I don't think Israel should pay them a dime. I just don't understand how you can simultaneously believe that America should pay reparations for slavery from 150 years ago, but Israel should not pay money to people who were displaced 65 years ago.
We did not enslave them like you did the Africans, and we did not displace them off land we never owned. Plus, the world agreed that was our land - the world has never reached a consensus on the horrible treatment of the redskins and the white man's land grab thereto.
Muhammad is not the same God.
The USA will always support Israel - ever heard of AIPAC?

Bullshit. The whole reason you demanded that I define Palestine was so you could draw me into a trap about who gets what land. What other reason was there?

The issue was why a displaced Palestinian should not get reparations if an American black should. I never said anything about giving land back. That was your implication, not mine.

Bullshit. You still can't read. I never said Palestine was a specific area. Go look at my original post and find where I said that. I only mentioned whether or not a displaced Palestinian who lost his land is entitled to reparations. The land that a specific Palestinian family lost is an identifiable and specific farm or house or other parcel of land. You don't have to define Palestine to figure out what piece of land that family was kicked out of.

It does not matter if the area of Palestine is poorly defined.

From the viewpoint of reparations, you only need to identify specific parcels from which Palestinians were evicted.

You invited me to draw the real lines because you were trying to draw me into a trap, not because you were seeking knowledge. The boundaries of Palestine are irrelevant to whether or not a specific Palestinian evicted from a specific house should be paid money for the loss of that house.

Again, I never said it was a specific area. You were so eager to spring your stupid little trap you didn't notice that I did not take the bait.

What do you mean "We did not enslave ... like you did"? Are you exempting yourself from the wrongs of America? The last time I checked you and may other Jews were US citizens, too. Or does that slip of the tongue betray something about your mindset.

My family history in this country began in the 1950s. Somthing tells me your family has been here even longer. So why is it "my" history but not "your" history?

Re-read that sentence and try to wrap your mind around the stupidity of it. If a Palestinian owned a farm and Israel kicked him out of it, how did you not displace him from land you never owned? If the deed is in Hussein's name - not some landlord - then he owns it.

The world agreed that SOME of that land should belong to Israel. They also agreed that SOME of that land (e.g., West Bank, Gaza) should beling to Palestinian Arabs. You seem to ignore that part when you pick and choose the parts of the world consensus that supports your case.

There is a nice vague statement.

Perhaps the world hasn't reached a consensus because the world isn't even trying to reach a consensus. Perhaps that is because it is a decided issue and no one - other than Confederate sympathizers - is trying to unravel the US.

Muhammed isn't a God at all. He is a prophet.

However, Muslims worship the same God that Abraham worshiped - the God of the ancient books. That's true whether you like it or not.

Yes I have. What about it?

First off, nothing is forever. That is why every nation has to watch out for its own interests.

Second, define "support". If you mean sell Israel arms and share intelligence, that is quite true.

But If you mean that America will sacrifice more blood and treasure in another war with the ragheads, maybe you should guess again.

The US might use drones and the Navy to prevent a genocide if things went against Israel in another war, but don't ever expect the American public to support putting American troops on the ground in Israel or a surrounding country. After Afghanistan and Iran, the US public will not support it. Period.
