I think if i found out my daughter was escorting I would probably freak out and not so much try to talk her out of it but maybe talk her into doing some high end porn with a porn company like Vivid or such.

Sound I am sure but porn companies take care of their employees, health check ups, you perform only with other employees etc and you get paid some decent $$$$..... that or tell her to work for like the Bunny Ranch where its more secure etc.

I could never disown my children. I love them too damn much. I want to be there for them when they have their successes in life and when they make mistakes in life. We can't control what our children do, we can only try to guide them as best we can.

Anyone who says they would support their daughter in escorting is full of bologne!! Trying to help them with a problem, (financial or otherwise) thats one thing. But supporting them as an escort?? I don't think so. If you found out your kid was an escort you would be doing whatever you could to stop them, including getting a second mortgage on your homes if needed. You would not want your kids in this business and you know it. Give me a break. I'm sure many of you would be caring, loving and compassionate. But I doubt you would be supportive of escorting. I mean, this is a dangerous business to be in. Any caring parent would be racked with worry. The same way parents feel when their kids go off to war. No parent wants their child in a dangerous situation!

With that said, I do not think disowning your kid is the answer either. Trying to figure out the reasons why the kid got into escorting in the first place, thats where you start, and go from there. Disowning your kid will do nothing to get them out of the business.

I think with adoptive parents, they dont have the same connection with their adoptive kids as in comparison to giving birth and raising them on your own. So its easier for them to take them out of their lives

Isis, I'm going to assume(forgive me if I'm wrong) that you have no children. My child is the center of my universe. I'd do anything to keep them safe from harm. And it may not be just about the $ that would cause them to get involved in such a situation. Yes I'd reason against there being in this industry but refer to my first post in this thread as to the outcome. I would move heaven and earth to keep my youngling safe. I will even go so far as to say this and believe me when I do. If something were to fatally happen to my child I would either end my own life or have to be committed to the nearest asylum for my own safety. That's my level of committment and love to my progeny.
Mandy, it doesn't matter if your adopted or biological the ties should run just as deep. My older sib is a half. My mom had a child from her previous marriage and got out and traveled across the country to get away from the lowlife addict for her and her child. Then she met my dad and they wed had me and a few years later he adopted that child. Gave the child his name and raised it as his own. I don't think of my sib as a halfsibling. They are full member of the family.
