Sorry, CBJ7. It's not that they "can" buy new policies, it's that they "MUST" buy new, government approved policies, whether they need all the included coverage or not.

look on the bright side ... make health insurance available for illegal aliens and we can cut that 31 million down to almost nothing ... No ?

the only reason people needing new policies to replace their former policies is because their ins co canceled their ass ... even Fox news was credible enough to admit that,,, are you?

Yes, you would because you didn't turn it into a $570 Million loss and pay all the execs hundreds of millions of dollars of bonuses while you "FLIPPED" all the assets to the parent company for profitable sale and also providing it a big write off from the original company's bankruptcy. This or a version of it was what Mitt Romney and hundreds of other businessmen did to earn their millions, but you just don't have the vision.

Poor example since the devil us always in the details in things like this. What are you CFO of, a lemonade stand?

It will get worse for you, as well, LordBieberfan. You are just too stupid to see it.

You mean like give the unions a exemption ... bankroll your friends with tax dollars ....

give the US government employs a raise ... and let you wife take junkets with her friends and family members on the taxpayers dollars while you chase golf balls in the woods ..

and take selfies with hot-babe world leaders ... while drawing lines in the sand ....

Obama's idea of "transforming" America.

We've been punked by Obama and the Democrats.

Yeah, and the sign-ups continue while the legislation eventually becomes the law of the land and you whine like the fucking bitch you are....go fuck yourself. You can't undo it, all you can do is cry. Keep it up, it is what you do best.

Whirly, do you have a link? According to this 16 states will be allowed to restore the cancelled policies.

The 5 million people that had their policy cancelled can do one of several things.

1. Go purchase a new policy. If they are a family of 4 and make less than $94,000 they will get a subsidy to help pay for it.

2. If they don't like the bronze plan or any of the other plans they can apply for the hardship exemption and purchase a minimum coverage policy that only people under 30 can get.

3. If they don't want a minimum coverage policy either, they can elect to go without health insurance and they won't have to pay the tax for not being insured.

4. If they elect to choose option 3 and they get sick they can go to the emergency room of any hospital that gets money from the federal government and get treated. The 1986 law passed by Reagan. This would be the republican version of redistribution of income.

So Obama forced healthy people out of the insurance pool, less people overall are insured, the govt is subsidizing the insurance industry more and hospital still have people walking thru the door that can't be turned away because they won't pay.

On top of that hospitals are closing their doors and more doctors are only taking cash or leaving the Obamacare network.

But, according to flighty and the CBO, more people will enjoy private coverage in 5 years. It may even surpass the 2013 number by then. Genius!
