WTF, I was a Florida voter in 1996 and I don't think Buchanan was. We had the "butterfly" ballot in Duval County as well. I had a friend who wanted to know what kind of idiot checks the back of their ballot...I do just like the instructions say you should. So it was the democrats who came up with the ballot method. You gonna cry about that. We were too stupid to understand that our supporters were too stupid to vote!
It was also discovered (you forgot mention this) that thousands of voters in the panhandle did not vote after the election results gave the state to Al Gore. That would be two military bases in the central time zone. An hour later than the rest of Florida. The news bureaus broke their collective word when they announced before the polls closed in the entire state. So if the media hadn't lied there would have been hundreds and probably thousands of more Bush votes. Gore loses again!
