Never been. Have to check it out. But they’re still open.

.. "Molnars" may be the true name of the route 51 place
that I mention.

... Come to mention - "Dorido's" over South Park by
the golf links has a great fish sandwich also.

The Common Plea was one of my favorites. The Lobster ala Common Plea was excellent.

Ive tried it once. There’s one close to me. Wraps and salads. It’s ok. Nothing special IMHO. They do offer calamari as a protein choice. Which is different. Primos hoagies are pretty good. But I wouldn’t go out of my way for one. They’re from Philly and have 4 stores.

Rumfish opened in Great Southern Shopping Ctr 10 years ago... great seafood, but it didn't last. Today it's Dee-Jay's, a spin-off of the original ribs joint outside Weirton. Try it if you have a craving for ribs.

Well, DJee’s is kinda bittersweet for me. I went to their original establishment in Weirton with a surgeon friend of mine. It was literally a hole in the wall. But really good. A lot of Pro Pittsburgh athletes and news figures would go there. I stopped in with Kent Tekulve after rounds at Williams CC. We were treated like royalty. After they built their new place off of 22, I thought it went down hill a bit. Haven’t been to their Bridgeville location yet. But Rumfish rocked in the summer months.

It was Wright's Seafood Inn and it was actually in Heidelberg.
Great place back in its day

There was another very good Italian joint in Heidelberg 40 or so years ago - The Oasis. Descendants of the owners had recently been operating a small restaurant out in Cecil (called the Oasis Pasta House) that served some of the same homemade pasta recipes - alas they are permanently closed as well.

They went to Bridgeville, then to Cecil. They are now closed.

Erculiani’s in Gallitzin. Would stop there on the drive up to Happy Valley. Main course included the full antipasto, olive tray, center salad and dessert. Amazing!
